Nice find, moonpie.
Looks like Jordan made good on his goal to gain muscle. Also his release looks more sound, smoother. "I am the pick," indeed.

His handles still look shaky. I was really hoping he would improve them

C''mon man it's a park pick up game and you judging his handles from this footage.....lol ?magicbesteva wrote:His handles still look shaky. I was really hoping he would improve them
Jordan doesn't have handle issues, for a guy that was beating a lot of guys off the dribble last season he did fine.

I am judging lol
I wanted to see sharper quicker handles. Ya I know it's a pick up game but you tend to do what you're most comfortable with even when you're messing around. I don't want him only relying on his athleticism

He looks like he's having trouble with the ball at the start. It looks under-inflated judging from how it's bouncing. He also looks like he's stiff as hell to start the game. It takes half the clip before he's really loose.

Re: Clarkson in Hong Kong
Yeah he obviously wasn't trying at the beginning because it won't be fair to those kids, he just wanted every one to have fun. But when he got loose towards the ending, he just started toying with them, the talent disparity was too much. Good to see Clarkson out there trying to build his brand, good look

Yeah he looks like he's stiff to start, probably didn't get any warm-up time and is probably jet lagged. But I feel like once he's loose he looks like he's trying not to break those random asians in half. And I'm glad he's smart enough to play cautiously; especially against non-pro's who could injure him on accident.
I just hope all of our players make it out of the summer league injury free. We may be basically sending 4-6 of our rotation players into a league where guys are playing recklessly outside of their comfort level to make an NBA training camp.

Re: Clarkson in Hong Kong
His shot looked really good on this footage.
I didn't notice any handle issues, other than he was just warming up at the beginning.
I hope he keeps working on all aspects of his game all summer long, and keeps building on that strong rookie year.

Re: Clarkson in Hong Kong
Can't wait to watch him grow over his career. I think we've struck gold, and it's going to be glorious seeing him become something with us. We haven't been able to say that about a player in a while. Finally we find a diamond in the rough.
I know it's just a random pick up game, but his jumper looks a lot better, and he looks a lot bulkier, almost WB like.

Yeah, we are very lucky to have him.

He just seemed like he was having trouble figuring out how he wanted to play with these guys. He's clearly not trying at all.

Re: Clarkson in Hong Kong
His jump shot form looks better, lol at people complaining at his handles in a pick up game.
