Machi is coming back as well so I think that Broadway and Strickland will take the trip to Sac. I know that is 3 in and 2 out. Ideally, Bochy can have a rotation of Bummy, Timmy, Cain, (that has been the dream for 3 years haha) and Heston all rolling and 2 of the 3 (Vogelsong, Hudson and Peavy) getting the other starts. Go 6 deep with the starters and have one of them cycling thru 15 day dl until someone really gets hurt and they are all needed. That way we keep our starting arms fresh for the back half of the year that looks to be very very competitive. Bummy won't like it but it's in the teams best interest. You can always give guys rest or "time to work out the kinks" if they have a bad start and he can pick up extra starts there.

We're in great shape next year as well because Hudson, Lincecum McGhee Vogelsong Arias and Affledt are all free agents. That is 45 mil. They use that money to sign Crawford Belt Petit Kontos out of arbitration. Maybe then sign Lincecum to a reasonable deal and find a real 3rd base option (Freese comes to mind) or backup if Duffy works out and a utility guy that can play midinfield and corners outfield (Sean Rodriquez).
