I really liked the Latvian Eurovision entry this year. Powerful voice for a little girl.

we went the full party this year. drank alcohol from several different country, while over eating a variety of different countries food.
was good. not enough weird stuff this year.

I think my favourite was the mentally handicapped punk band from Finland.

this isn't the eurovision performance but I wanted to include the lyrics, true punk. just singing about what **** them

ESPN used the instrumental from Thuggish Ruggish Bone by BTNH during a cut to commercial during the Cavs/Hawks game 3. For game 4 I want to hear the line "Cleveland is the city where we come from so run run" from East 1999 Eternal used in a similar fashion. Any Bone Thugs fans out there?

That's so cool. I saw Amin Elhassan tweeting about it.

Can't say that I'm a Bone Thugs fan per se, but it obviously is a group that I appreciate.

Chillin' this fine Asheville evening with bassman Ron Carter's marvelously mellow All Blues.

2014 FHD was good, but man back 5-6 years ago every song this dude put out was straight fire. I forget about all the incredible music he made when he was just getting started

OK hip hop fans, I need your help. I am in the process of making an old school hip hop mix on Spotify. I need some suggestions. If you guys have been paying attention over the years, you'll know I am not a huge rap/hip hop fan. That being said, the few things I like, I really like. Some of the stuff I do like for reference include songs from: Jurassic 5, Blackalicious, Talib, Pharcyde, Dangermouse, Fort Knox Five, Brand New Heavies, older Snoop, late 80s, early 90s, even some of the early gangsta stuff. Songs with a melody, funny lyrics or smart lyrics or lyrics that tell a story. I get annoyed by idiot lyrics about bragging, guns and money. Real instruments are always a plus, but not required. Melody and hooks. OK, so if you could recommend one or two songs that I just must include on this mix, what would you suggest? Give me the best of the best suggestions, not a list of 10 songs. Doesn't have to be super underground stuff, I might like well known classics just as much as the obscure stuff. Just assumed I have been living in a cave for the past 30 years and know nothing.

OK go...

I stumbled on a cool website (probably known to most) called whosampled.com. I looked all the tunes that have sample Steely Dan and found some cool stuff. Check out this one by some group called Alps Cru where they sample "Home At Last"

I've been in heaven tonight. As some of you may know I only listen to video game music. Well I found this kickass metal cover guy that does a bunch of songs. Worth a listen if any of you play games
