Saw Embiid at Rumor last night in Philly and he was dancing, jumping around like there wasn't national media talking about his foot just last week...He actually said "I'm cool, don't believe the media".

He looked fine, wasn't limping or anything - Now I'm not dumb enough to think if he's good enough to go out, dance and act wild then that means he can suit up and play..BUT..you have to think if he's getting thumbs up to go out and have fun without any limits, then hopefully good news is on its way post-draft.

So you actually went up to him and asked him how his foot was and he said I'm cool?

Yup, I saw him late April at Down and he was doing the same thing so this time I went up to him and asked him how's the foot, & that these reports are killing us...his exact quote was "I'm cool, don't believe the media..I'm cool" then proceeded to drink his "coke".

I love hearing this as much as the next guy, but let's remember that we already knew that he wasn't having pain, and didn't reinjure it, so obviously he wouldn't have a limp.

The whole thing is what it means long term for his foot.

Exactly..he wasn't having pain but the ct scan is what showed a "setback". Maybe his bone won't ever heal the way the docs hope it will but if he can play without pain, I say that's better than a ct scan shown 100% healing but him saying he has pain.

Noel's name has come up in trade rumors, but not only does he expect to be at Sixers camp in the fall and continue to play for this team, he also expects to play with last year's third overall pick Joel Embiid, even though his right foot is not heeling as quickly as anticipated.

"I have no doubt that Joel is going to play basketball soon. Playing against him this summer a couple times, he looked great, he looked very healthy," Noel said.

Nerlens probably doesn't know much, but doesn't hurt to put this here I guess.
