2015-2016 title favorites?

Hey Clips Nation, I have been loosely following the Clippers since you drafted Blake Griffin, and this past season I picked you guys to win it all both before the regular season started and at the end preceding the playoffs. I was thoroughly disappointed to see this team go down to the Rockets (I can't stand Harden or Howard) after showing so much promise and dominance besting the Spurs and going up 3-1 against Houston. Anyways, my question to you guys is this: do you still consider yourselves legitimate contenders/favorites this upcoming season or is depth preventing you from reaching the next level? Good luck Clips this upcoming season, I'll be rooting for you until my Wolves put together a competent team.

Clippers have never been title favorites, contenders, yes. It's been 4 years in a row, and the team still needs the same thing, defense. Clippers defense in the series' that they lose have consistently been bad, so when the FO decides to get players that can defend, then the teams potential to go further will increase. Jamal Crawford and Spencer Hawes were two of the main bench guys this season, so consider that in light of being better on defense.

thanks for the support! i would say nobody here would think we are title favorites. maybe for one very small window when we were dominating houston and gs was down 2-1 vs memphis we thought that was our biggest window (there's a thread about it). but we definitely feel we're contenders. just contenders with as small a window as doc rivers's gm idiocy will allow.
