10. Myles Turner
I can't remember a draft where there was less separation between players 6-15.

Re: The Stanley Johnson Thread
I was never high on Stanley anyways. Though he's young, I just don't think he has a lot of upside. If he is the guy that doesn't go in the top 8, I would be satisfied with a trade down in hopes of getting a guy like RJ Hunter.

Re: The Stanley Johnson Thread
On one hand I understand him not wanting to be drafted by us because we have MKG holding down the SF and our hope is that he is our long term solution there and that is the position that Johnson will play.
On the other hand, that pompous little Johnson mother **** can go **** himself. Wouldn't want his raggedy arse within 500ft of this team.

Shows how well regarded MKG is in inner circle around the league. Its probably his agents doing, but do you think Payne would turn down a workout just because we have Walker? No, he wouldn't. Kinda makes Stanley look like a big bitch.

Y'all better take y'all Stanley Johnson bashing and delete it in case we still draft him. Don't need a guy in town our hardcore fans called a big bitch.

If Johnson goes at #8 and we get Winslow, I will be crying and spilling milk all at the same time.
Bless you Stanley Johnson and bless you Stan Van Gundy.

Re: The Stanley Johnson Thread
The Stanley Johnson vs. Justise Winslow comparison is really interesting to me. Similar size, similar games, similar stats their rookie seasons but different trajectories in terms of impact through the course of the season (SJ fizzled out to close out the season, JW started slow then lit the world on fire).
I'm curious how someone who is an Arizona fan would assess Stanley's game.

Zona is one of my west coast teams I tend to watch a little, they were underwhelming this year. Losing Nick Johnson really hurt them more than I thought it would, didn't seem to have the perimeter shooting of years past. I think Stan had to work harder for his stats (less driving lanes, 0 help from RHJ in carrying offensive load) than Winslow did, that Duke team really meshed well together.

Re: The Stanley Johnson Thread
Johnson was starting to grow on me. I think I like him better than Winslow. However, I don't mind that he is Detroits target at 8, because them drafting Johnson is one of the things that has to happen for Hezonja to fall to us. Still super unlikely, but whatever. I'm going to keep dreaming until Silver calls his name.
