Does Chad Ford work for Philly? Cus he's linked us to KP for months.

Or how about this. Have there been ANY reports anywhere saying we don't want KP? Because if BMP is right and its delusional to think we'd ever trade up for him then there has to be some type of reasoning.

Of course every GM's going to say they love every player. They probably hope someone in front of them take them.

In my opinion their is 0 chance we take KP.

This is the smokescreen I believe is happening. Get one of the top 4 to slide down and Magic are in great position for an asset to keep or an asset to trade.

There is zero chance BMP would express nuance or uncertainty within his bombastic speculations. Zero. That is pure delusional.

OR maybe he is implying he'll get real minutes rather than spot minutes?

Or just a nominal comment from a guy from Latvia who has been playing in Spain for several years about a situation that has yet to occur?

Nothing to see here...

Wasn't there some comment a few pages back that said there's rumor that KP has said he won't come over to play for Philly next year? Haven't seen it anywhere else so take it with a grain of salt.

Also, just an FYI, DraftExpress says Kristaps would prefer to play for L.A. or Orlando. Another grain of salt, but yea.

Everything will be a mystery/beating around the bush until AFTER draft day. This is typical draft talk, if Henny drafts KP please know that Henny has done ALL his homework and you'll see KP sooner than later on this team.

Was it a smokescreen in 2013 when everyone knew we wanted Victor a week before the draft? I get it may be false, but maybe, JUST MAYBE, the rumors are true?

I thought all reports were indicating us drafting Noel to tank another year?

I remember several go-to outlets having Oladipo in their mocks; even during radio interviews, seemed like everyone knew Orlando was going Oladipo. Several teams were even trying to trade up to get Oladipo (Char, Minny, & Cle's owner had a hard on for him but let GM take Bennett).

Hmmm you're probably right.

For a second let's imagine we did draft Noel and tanked hard another yr (more than likely end up with a top 2 pick).

Let's say we got the #2 and drafted Jabari (Henny guy) and still drafted Payton and set our eyes on Hezonja this draft, we could have ended up with..

Payton
Hezonja
Parker
Noel
Vuc

:o

I love hindsight

I've been thinking this all along. Personally, I think this pick has to be a safe, can't miss pick for them considering their situation right now.

So many smokescreens it's not even funny

Nothing is for sure, this draft is going to be entertaining to say the least.

Chad Ford–Verified account ‏@chadfordinsider

Just got the measurements for @kporzee from @impactbball! 7'1.25" w/out shoes, 7'6 wingspan, 230 lbs. Longest wingspan in the draft.
