Similar to what I've been saying repeatedly, Jay Bilas likes Diay's dynamic potential.

While we were the first to move Porzingis to this spot even prior to his impressive coming out party workout in Las Vegas, many NBA teams feel that Philadelphia's interest in the Latvian may be overstated, a ploy to get other teams to try and move up via trade. Philadelphia is reportedly not Porzinigis' first choice according to what we're told, as he'd rather end up in LA or Orlando if it were up to him, but there are no assurances he'd be selected there at this stage. It will likely be difficult for Sam Hinkie to pick Porzingis without the benefit of his doctors conducting a comprehensive physical examination, which he won't get unless he decides to visit Philadelphia, especially in light of Joel Embiid's injury setback this week. D'Angelo Russell says he would be thrilled to play in Philadelphia after having an excellent workout there this week, and remains a very logical candidate for the Sixers positionally and talent-wise.

Lakers trying to trade for Cousins, but I don't think that will have any impact on their #2 pick unless they trade it.

They probably can't get Cousins even if they include #2. Not including it is a non-starter.

Voted for Mudiay the "safe" option. Usually I embrace risk, but I see a bunch of solid pros in this group of kids. Best case scenario would be if the player Hinkie likes the most falls, and we're able to pick up some assets and still get that player.

the black dude annoyed me. telling Russell straight up to his face that he doesn't have the range of Curry and that Manu isn't as gifted athletically as Russell? WUT? Clearly he hasn't seen Russell play to make both those comments. Manu is or was a better athlete than Russell.

Good interview with Larry Brown. He talks about why Mudiay is the best PG by far. Please take away the hatred of his draft record and some things he says that rubs us the wrong way. Listen to what he says about Mudiay. Obviously he's biased though.

I don't trust Larry Brown.

That being said, it's pretty cool how hard he is going to bat for this kid. He's repping harder than a lot of coaches that actually had the guys play for them.

Gut Feeling: Porzingus or Mudiay

Considering the Zinger's camp has been stonewalling Hinkie's access to the player, I think Mudiay might be the selection.

I don't mind Mudiay at all.... Russell,Okafor,Mudiay in that order.

Ill pass on Porzingis. If he becomes the next Dirk so be it....ill take the odds on him NOT doing so.

There you go. Porzingis will be booed by the Sixers fans at first but after a while they will turn into cheers. Philly fans are going to love the leaping Lavtian lol. Mudiay will be a fan favorite as well. Larry Brown may have talked Hinkie into Mudiay. Lol.

That was a nice piece of insight. Thanks for the link.

If what he said about Darko is true, that's pretty sad on Dumar's part. Hopefully Hinkie and Brown are better synched.
