Perfect, I hope it's true.

Hell yeah to the Cleveland deal. Maybe we could use the extra pick to move up?

I found the source. I won't link it because the page has so much video footage of the finals it takes forever to download.

It's not an official rumor, at all.

The Hornets, for example, aren't interested in Matt Barnes long-term. They're holding onto him for now, I'm told, in hopes they can move him before June 30, when his 2015-16 salary would become guaranteed.

A combo of Barnes and Marvin Williams -- like Barnes, entering the last year of his current deal -- to Cleveland for Haywood's contract and the Cavs' pick would be a low-risk, one-year rental for the Cavs of two players who combined to average better than 17 points and 9 rebounds last season. They would be much more productive off the bench than what Cleveland had this season.

I didn't see the tweet, but that is way too good to be true.

I don't believe it's too good to be true at all.

Seems like a Cho trade if I've ever seen one.

Cleveland needs a bench and would upgrade massively with this deal.

Haywood loves him some Charlotte too.

Haywood would be cut and save us almost $10M. All in all not a bad deal for spare parts we are moving away from and clears space to go after a shooter should one not fall in the draft or to bring back Biz.

I'm pretty sure since we picked him up via the amnesty waiver it left him with a 10m unguaranteed cap hold for this upcoming season.

Marv and Barnes count at exactly 10m cap hold for us under contract (Barnes' 2.5m is only 1m guranteed)

If we trade 10m of guaranteed salary for Haywood and waive him, we would add 10m in cap space immediately I believe.

BOB Coon would know exactly.

There is no tweet. It's not a rumored negotiation. Aldridge is imagining it.

Yes, it's what happens when a media figure relays a communication from a source or sources within an organization(s). Aldridge hasn't heard anything.

You've got this one. It's an interesting idea because Cleveland figures to be way over the cap, so waiving Haywood does nothing for them. Their goal is to obtain the best player or combination of players, likely from a team that could actually create cap space from waiving Haywood.

Cheers BOB.

Yeah that deal would be unreal, even without the pick.

Obviously we'd only weaken our bench for a first though.

OKC has shopped Perry Jones, Jeremy Lamb and Steve Novak the last few days, per league sources. Financially motivated, but looking for pick.

Lol. Waiting for someone willing to give up the 9th pick for Jones and Lamb.

I would go with 39 and Barnes but that is the best I would do right now.

Theyd probably want Barnes if they are seaking financial relief, but id attach 39 to any of our many scrubs for JonesIII and Lamb.
