That sounds solid. Other options at center could be Whiteside or even Gasol if he decides to come. The team would be killer if that happened

LMA is still a possibility on a 1yr. opt out deal.
Not sure why people have written this off.

#1 goal should be Aldridge. Then you work on the remaining players.

Two year. You don't opt in when the cap goes until to $88m one year removed from the cap going up $108m.

NO free agent his year is angling for next year. They'll angle for 2017-118.

Three year deal, third year is player option.

That would be even better if we could convince him to come to us. We'll ruin the plans of our division rivals and we'll improve. Personally I think the Knicks situation would be more appealing than the Nets. It's a perfect fit for him and us. And the team has a brighter future. He could be apart of something special.

I like this a lot... pretty small but all five players have at least average athleticism, defense, and scoring ability.

Yes, and Thad young is an excellent cutter with high ball IQ and he plays hard. Would be perfect for the triangle he's kind of like Lamar Odom with a little less passing and a little more defense and athleticism. He's great a getting steals and deflections for a big just like Monroe.

And if we do a José Calderon + Tim Hardaway to Detroit trade for #38 and maybe we could come up with a shotblocker late in the draft.

Replace Monroe with Deandre and I like it. There's enough offense with that squad. Deandre makes that team elite defensively while being above average offensively.

what you think of my Celtics Knicks trade idea

Celtics trade: Avery Bradley & 28th pick

Knicks trade Calderon and Timmy Jr & cash

Boston does it cause they don't need avery they already got Smart and they get a veteran in Jose and they get some help in SG spot in Timmy JR. Also Averys Contract is longer than Calderons.

Knicks do it cause they solve their PG problem and get one of the best defensive PGs in the NBA . As a Knicks fan I would do it with out the 28th pick but I would see if Boston would throw it in.

I would do that deal if you switched out Kenneth Faried for either Danilo Gallinari or Wilson Chandler.
