No that's okay. At least Jodie is useful.

Bennett is stuck at PF and we already have Toliver and Ilyasova. No point in adding an expensive tweener who will struggle to get minutes.

This is coming from a guy who kind of liked him coming out, at like, 8, not 1st overall.

Now that seems like a legit proposal. Not sure how it makes us better.I was also intrigued by Bennet @ #8 that year, but I haven't followed him enough to know if he showed any flashes at all.

I wouldn't trade for him with another teams players, big pass for me.

When he was drafted #1 I was shocked, then just assumed someone knew something I didn't, but that turned out to be wrong. I just don't see him having anything to contribute on our team, especially if we want to push for the (dare I say it) PLAYOFFS.

Plus we need to develop Dre, KCP, Spencer, and #8. Do the coaches really have the cycles to try and coach this kid up too?

I agree, as I don't think we saw Meeks healthy most of last season. Hopefully this season . . .

Bennett may yet turn it around, but I sure hope the pistons aren't taking on that contract. Once he gets cut or expires, sure, spend a roster spot on him, but don't tie up cap space on a project player.

Yes, Bennett has been hurt multiple times, but he has played a bunch of minutes already. It's not like he's only gotten spot minutes. He's been in double digit minutes almost every game he played and he just didn't do a lot with the time.

It's just under 6 mil for next year, which is definitely a massive rip off. But, 2016-2017 is a team option. If he shows no progress or signs of someone who could be a good rotation player, we decline his option.

The trouble is you have to pick up his option by October 31 so you don't get to see him play before you have to decide

I know it sounds crazy, but I consider Tolliver a nice part of what SVG is building here. Nobody knew Anthony Tolliver when he got here, but after watching him play. I love the guy. He hustles, he does the dirty work, he energizes otherwise lethargic play at times. He's our current version of the prime time Junk Yard Dog. He's a guy that seems like a glue guy and every team needs one. I wouldn't trade him for an undersized overpaid tweener that's not able to breakout on a roster like Minny has. No thanks.
