Jerry West has me all wtf now. He eyed Curry and now sees another Curry-lite.

For weeks I sought guidance. I fasted and prayed day upon day, night upon sleepless night.

Okafor or Russell. Who should rise up and take the purple and golden mantle from the Lord High Kobe? Which supplicant was truly Worthy?

"Why? Why do you not answer?" I cried to the heavens. Mayhap it was that not a one yet existed who could take the challenge. Mayhap t'would be best to cast this choice away from our eyes. Bequeath this unholy gift to another and accept something less.

Then, with mere days left before a choice must we make spake the wisest of the wise: He who was called The Logo.

And the Logo cried out, "There, you fools! He stands before your very eyes if you have but the wit to see. Take thee Russell to thine busom and nurture him and he shall be great."

And the skies parted and a great light shown down from the heavens. And I believed! Yea and verily I believed!
If more people thought like I do, the world would be a much better place.

This will be a tight race for the 2016 ROY.

Not to mention the guy averaged 19.3 pts. as a freshman PG and shot 41% from beyond the arc. Can't say I'm not torn on this, but I'm still picking Jahlil.

If we don't get Cousins, just take Russell. There are good defensive bigs in the FA

I said it before.....only way I see our FO taking Russell, is that they are sure they will lure a quality big in FA

I'd take Russell and Deandre anyday of the week if it's possible....over just Okafor

The question is that do you still trust "The Logo" when he is not working for the Laker front office? He can always manipulate what we draft to protect his "small ball" dynasty. What if he is really afraid that Laker Okafor becomes a dominant player and no one in the Dubs team can stop him in the paint just like Shaq used to?

That's BS.....Jerry always spoke up his mind, with no side plans

And he's still a Laker at heart, the thought of him traying to sabotage us is asinine....Russell or Okafor, we're still no match for the Dubs just yet

I will trust Jerry if he wasn't connected to any team. Did he have a lie detector strapped to him when he said that? We are still no match for the dubs right now I agree..what I did say is that can they still stop a dominant center (if Okafor develops)when they still play small ball? Lebron had his way in the final did he?

The statement is almost believable up to the "15x all-star" part. That just seems a little flamboyant for West...

or i think he try to hyping up Russell, then Sixers wanted him even more, then the Lakers draft him, and offer Sixers to trade down, that they will bite.

great plan by Jerry !
