Everyone is going to go after Aldridge and Love there will be a lot of disappointed fan bases when free agency ends.

I would have to think that in order for us to actually sign Love outright we would have to offer him a fat one year deal. Along with that I'm sure he would want some assurances about what type of offense we would run (in order to ensure that he gets PAID next summer). A Love/Len frontcourt is enticing though...

Woj says the Suns are going hard after Love now that he has opted out.

of course they will. The real question is will he even visit and hear their pitch?

Can someone tell me how pairing Robin Lopez and Pierce with Love in Boston would entice Love to go there? That's an awful pitch.

Hahaha I agree. Talk about as unattractive as it gets. Lopez is terrible. Pierce is a great player but is past his prime and how many more years is he gonna play? One? Who knows what Love is thinking. I would not be surprised though if the Lakers get Cousins somehow AND sign Love. Then trading that Lakers pick truly will not look bad at all.

I would still LOVE David West here even with his old age. He's the perfect mentor for the extremely immature and young players on this team. Plus him and Warren already have a special relationship so he could mentor him going forward on the same team.

We need an enforcer, no nonsense type guy like David West on this team.

I would rather have Aldridge anyway. That guy can carry a team and would be amazing playing next to Len. Gambo said the Suns biggest thing going for them is one of their new assistant coaches is Earl Watson and Aldridge and Watson are extremely close.

I said this last night. I think Love will be signed and traded. There is no way I see Cleveland re-signing him AND Thompson. They both want max contracts. Even if Thompson gets a near max deal, you do not invest that kind of money in a starter and a bench player that play the same position. Plus four max contracts for Lebron, Irving, Love, and Thompson leaves no money for anything else.

I think he just leaves for nothing. With the new CBA you can't do a 5 year contract sign and trade so really the only way it's a s&t is if it's to a team without cap space.

But what if the Suns hypothetically trade the Morris brothers and Tucker for him? It benefits both teams. Suns get him while dumping those contracts and they still have a lot of cap space to get another big free agent. Cleveland lets him go and gets bench depth in return. Helps both teams.

Love next to Markieff and Len would make a great 3 man big rotation.

He's the ideal guy to have on the team spreading the floor, good passer, rebounder, shooter etc stretch 4. Plays no D but I'd still take him.

wish we could get him to phx in the winter instead of the summer when it's 112 degrees outside.

I see him going to LA or Cle.

that boston big 3 is an absolute joke.

I don't know about that. I've read he's a quiet guy that keeps to himself (not that we need another one of those)..but I don't think he's liked all the spotlight in Cleveland. I don't think he wants the spotlight and I don't think he's a big partier either.
