If this was Cody and Hendo for Batum, I'd feel pretty good. Batum is a huge upgrade over Hendo, but just really bummed out on giving up on Vonleh this soon. I was pretty bullish on Vonleh.

Bye bye Cho because this obviously means it's playoffs or his job. I can't wait when this piece of s**t he has assembled does not make the playoffs and he's fired. Gms that mortgage the future to keep their jobs are complete trash. I guess I shouldn't feel all that bad about me accidentally breaking my tv a few days ago because when we draft Frank tomorrow it would have been broke.

Idiotic trade, it is no win situation, Batum comes from a down year and is really talented but if he plays well, he will command big money, and he is not an ideal fit, he can play the SG but he is better off as a SF.
I always believed in Batum potential as a scorer if he was a tad more aggressive, I guess that we will see that now.
It is a big get for Portland who is rebuilding, I guess now that the 9th pick will go to a big, Turner?

I don't mind this I guess. I'm probably in the minority of people who aren't huge on noah vonleh. However I think this makes the chance of us re-signing biz lower.

Biggest issue with Batum is that he's a UFA next off-season, the cap explosion off-season where pretty much every team will have $10M+ to spend. I really like him as a player, but was wary of Detroit potentially trading for him because of his contract situation.
