A perfect SG is a great ball handler and goes hard to the rim....Booker is not that player.

Like Klay Thompson......you should see him finish at the rim

As soon as Porzingis gets blocked in the NBA, you will receive a nanny-nanny-boo-boo from me. From the footage I've seen, he is not that quick, he is not that athletic and he is not that great of an offensive player. I would love to see him do drills agains Future NBA competition. I think you would quickly find out how not athletic he is. He is a decent shooter, he is not a great one. My whole argument has been, since the beginning, he is decent at a lot of things, but not remarkable at any of them. I never compared his shooting to anyone other than bigs. I compared Klay Thompson to Luke Babbit, not Porzingis to prove a point. VOLUME+ACCURACY=GREAT SHOOTER!

Love, Frye, and Anderson are great shooting stretch bigs. Ibaka is not. Porzingis is not yet. Neither is Kaminsky for that matter. They do not shoot it enough to make that claim, just a Babbit cannot claim to be a better shooter than Thompson. Seriously, you've just twisted whatever I say into something that it isn't and it's quite ridiculous.

Yes I have. In this thread. In fact, Looney is one of my selections on this very poll. And so you admit that you think there isn't a single PF who is a great shooter for the PF position in this entire draft? Fine then. Either way you asked me what Porzingis does better than others, and he shoots the 3 better than any PF in this draft not named Kaminsky, and his shot is the most unblockable in the entire god damned draft. Seriously though, have you started your own draft site yet? GM's need to know that Porzingis is slow and unathletic and not a great shooter. Somebody should tell them, because every other scout is saying the opposite.

You take me saying he's not great or excellent as meaning he is horrible, and he's not, and I've never said that. Goodbye.

You take obvious, visible skills that are apparent to everyone, fail to see them, and then when countered minimize the definition of what qualifies as a strength until maybe only 2 people in the world could qualify, and then proceed to make nonsensical arguments that couldn't possibly be proven like "not shooting enough" or "only counting 3s," etc. to try to justify your obvious incorrect opinion. Goodbye.

I don't think he's that bad of a finisher. He's not dunking on people or anything, but he's not Dante Exum.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

I'd go for Green 10/10 times personally.
Best shot blocking SG in the league... elite defender.... elite 3pt shooter. High IQ also.

Perfect for the Suns who will face teams with Harden, Curry, Paul, Conley etc 4 times a season.
Booker wont get much minutes since he cant defend... Green can play 30+ minutes and impact both sides.

I'm sure ballstreams would have an HD feed if you wanted to join, or you could always try firstsports, but that is kind of a crapshoot with sometimes bad reception.

If you want to watch the whole season, or even subscribe for a short period. ballstreams is the way to go.

I think league pass took off blackout restrictions this year and offer packages where you can just follow one team. Saw the press release the other day.

I don't normally agree with Jmac but it seems we both like the same guys in the draft this year.

So now Hezonja is also unproven? The guy is one of the best scorers on one of the best clubs in Europe, playing in Euroleague and ACB. I think he's proven more than any of the NCAA guys in the draft. He has Klay Thomson type of game, athletic, great shooter, good defender. I think he has the best chance to be an all star out of any players in this draft.
As for Porzingis, I've watched quite a few of his games for last couple of years, since U18 Euro champs, where he basically averaged double double with 6 blocks per game. That was pretty much an NCAA level competition. Also have to say, that some of his negatives, especially regarding his awareness, could be due to bad coaching situation he had this year. At the beginning of the year his club hired American coach who was terrible, the changed the whole staff mid season. This kind of rotation is not easy on the young kid. He is no sure thing by any means, but he is very versatile, can face up and drive, has a few post moves, can spot up and shoot up to 3 point range and can run in transition.

And I really wouldn't touch Booker. His lack of athleticism, length, strength, ball handling and passing (latter two are so important for the 2 guard) make him strictly a one trick pony and I wouldn't waste even a first rounder on another Anthony Morrow (at best).

If Cauley Stein slides to 13, do we see him as Alex Len or Nerlens Noel?

I really like him. I think he's gonna be a stud. Especially if he drops in the draft. He reminds me of a 6'8 version of Goran

I think this year is the first in a while where I don't really have one player that I want over anyone else. I'll just be happy with anyone but a PG. Unless we trade Bled for the 4th, but I don't see that happening.

Talking about 13 it's my feeling as well. Though I think the we need to go big, as this is one of Suns weaknesses and supposedly that is strength of the draft.
As much as I would love for McD to trade for 4th pick, we've been talking about moving up in the draft every year and it's never happened, so I don't have much faith in that happening this year either.

See, I think if we trade Bled for #4, it might be worth using #13 to invest in a guy like Payne (provided that pick isn't included). Like it or not (and believe me, I don't), the Morrii will be our de facto PF rotation until their value is high enough to trade them to a team looking for affordable forward depth (like CLE). The only exception will be if we land a guy like David West, who would push Marcus out of the rotation.

I'd really consider using the #4 on a stud wing like Hezonja, starting him alongside Granger. We have Warren, Goodwin and Bullock off the bench and hope to get at least 2 solid rotation players out of the three. When Granger goes, we bring Bogdanovic over, and by that time have a wing rotation of:

Hezonja
Bogdanovic
Warren
Goodwin
Bullock

With Knight & Payne at PG, and Len & Wright at C. Land a PF and we're good to go in 3-4 years.

I wont be surprise if Suns stay at pick 13 and draft Payne.
- PG check
- 3pt shooter check
- Play maker check
- Good scorer check
- Long wingspan check
- Good defender check

When this basketball thing doesn't work out I'm sure he'll make a nice living as a Butthead impersonator.
