Probably no one will get what i mean, but unlike you guys in the US, people don't think that sports = schoolgirls' drama. For everyone else in the world sports is about competition on equal terms and team sports are about strategy, tactics, cohesion, knowing your teammates and achieving more through cooperation than the individual parts are capable of. And doing all this for the logo on your chest.
The "star" model that Stern and co. invented will kill this game and i think it did as far as the NBA is concerned. Nobody cares about the game - not the players, not the organisations and most sadly, not the fans. Want proof? Go back 5+ years in this forum and read the discussions - most of them were about which player need to improve what, where the team lacks on defense or offense and how to improve, what the coach could have done better...stuff about basketball.
Look today - all the game threads combined from the season can't measure up to a single trade or draft thread. It's all you care about and if it was up to you the roster would be blown completely every two weeks and come draft time everyone, capable of dribbling the ball would be sold for draft picks. Pathetic...no other word to describe it.
So yeah...the way it's supposed to be played.
P.S.: The truth has been spoken

I know what you meant by "play basketball the way it's supposed to be played". Many other players and coaches and FO in the NBA have said that same thing as well including the best basketball player on the planet who said that about the Hawks before their series started.
