I know call me crazy but I am not buying this Russell hype, reminds me wayyyyy too much of Evan Turner.

Latest NYK info from sources: if Okafor/Russell gone, Knicks like either Kristaps Porzingis, Frank Kaminsky or Trey Lyles. Mudiay hovering

I see NYK taking Porzingis. He would fit great here though so we will see.

I could see the Knicks trading down with the Suns to grab Bledsoe and then take Kaminsky or Lyles at #13.

Could see porz dropping. This hype a lot of times doesn't translate on draft day.

If I had to predict I think it goes as planned originally. Kat, okafor, Russell, mudiay, Winslow. There's always talk of guys rising and falling but on draft day things usually revert back to how they were. Remember the talk of exum going above embiid?

Really? See I think NYK would be the worst spot for him, and don't think Phil takes him for that reason. That team is looking to win with Melo on his decline, and the media is brutal and impatient regardless of realistic expectations. Zinger needs to go somewhere he can develop steadily. Personally, I see them trading down for kaminsky for the versatility in triangle, or taking Mario -- his attitude will be good there.

At this point it's impossible to tell what will happen. There's so much noise and rumors flying around you have no idea if any of it is true. A lot of these stories are simply there to drive up web traffic. It's the only realistic explanation for teams supposedly changing their minds every 6 hours on who they're likely to pick.

Not sure if serious....Embiid their already injury prone center who hasn't played an NBA game? Remember the talk of Vonleh going above Exum? Past results have no barring on what will happen tonight. Although I do agree that its a strong possibility that it goes as planned it has nothing to do with Exum. I think barring a trade these teams know who they're picking by now. All the rumors and crap is just noise.

Maybe you misread me. There was a lot of talk before the draft last year that embiid would fall below exum. He obviously didn't. The fact that he's currently injury prone and hasn't played has no bearing on what I'm talking about

I think he makes a lot of sense for the Magic, personally. He makes up for the lack of 3 pt shooting from Gordon, Payton, and Oladipo. He provides shot blocking that is lacking in Vucevic and Gordon, and he can work defensively since Gordon can guard SF's. Essentially Porzingis plays the 3 offensively and 4 defensively, while Gordon plays the opposite. And there's plenty of rebounding between Payton, Oladipo, Gordon, and Vucevic to make up for Porzingis' lack of rebounding. I'm not a Magic fan, but it definitely seems to make sense to me, so I thought I'd share. Good luck you guys, I love how your team is shaping up.

I just don't see Phil drafting Kirstaps. If it's one thing Melo and the Knicks don't have, it's TIME. They can't sit around and hope he turns into a player while Melo enters the back 9 of his prime. Mudiay makes sense.

Still hoping Hennigan passes too. I can see SAC taking him.

if we select Mudiay then for me that's a sign we're trading down

It was widely reported that Porziņģis was higher on the Magic's draft chart than Hezonja. Even if "tied" Orlando needed a PF more than a SG.

What I am curious to know is what kind of trade discussions were seriously floated to move up to #2, and if Porziņģis or Okafor would have been the target is successful.
