Too onedimensional. Plus we have Goodwin, Bogdanovic, even Bullock, waiting in the wings.

+ Better players at pick 13.
If Booker is available at pick 44... why not.

We'll probably take Jerian Grant or Booker at #13 and trade with the Rockets for T Jones and their #18 pick to take Harrell. Sounds like a Suns kinda draft. Bracing for the worst/lowering expectation so I don't have a meltdown if WCS, Stanimal or Turner don't drop to us

They are strictly looking for a salary dump. If you take Jones from them, they are gifting you the Draft pick.

If this deal goes down...

We could have had it. Instead we got a half season of Brandon Wright and his bird rights.

The Blazers should be all over it. T. Jones would be a another possible Aldridge replacement.

Goodwin and Bullock can't shoot and Bodganovic is two years away from being two years away from being ready.

Bogdanovic is ready, actually, to play in rotation right away and will do so from summer 2016. and Bullock can shoot (44% in his final NCAA season), he just needs minutes to feel more comfortable.

Since the one guy I don't really want is WCS, that is my prediction of who we pick. So I better start warming up to it now. A nice defensive backup C and some nice insurance for a Len injury. OK, now I'm ok.

Alderidge is clearly not gettable. Gambo said a present player (you know its Jared Dudley) told him that Alderidge has children in San Antonio and Dallas. Thats why he wants to move to Texas.

If you can't get the FA, cash in on those who are trying. Get the pick, get a different player.

If Gambo's list is correct, Booker is a Sun, because Kaminsky ain't lasting to 13, and Booker will--ugh...

OK, I don't know if people are checking both threads, but I'll mostly be in this one making sure people don't post spoilers from twitter before we get to watch them on tv. As I mentioned in the other thread, I'm sure we will take WCS since that is the one guy I don't really want, so I'm trying to warm up to him now....a nice backup defensive C who is good insurance for a Len injury.

Actually he would be a good guy to have, but I'd really like to find that future starting 4.

I have a feeling this will disappoint a lot of fans. Too much hype.

But the free agency + trade period BETTER make up for it.

I hope the Suns do very little in free agency personally. I don't see them getting any of the top tier guys such as Love or Aldridge and I think its a waste of time and money to bring in mid-tier free agents that aren't going to make you a playoff contender anyways.

I'm all for letting the young guys play and letting this team take their lumps rather than hoping to sneak into the playoffs via the 7th or 8th seed, only to promptly get knocked out in the 1st or 2nd rounds. I'm so over that, it would feel like the late 90's all over again.

If he is the pick.. it means McD has enough data to think he is worthy of pick 13.
So be it.

The one player I'd really like is Winslow. He's a smaller, more physical Shawn Marion type, a guy who is outstanding defending wings, can knock down shots from all over the court, can rebound and simply has that winning sort of mentality and attitude.

Not sure what it would take to trade up for him but behind Russell, he's my favorite prospect for the Suns.

Let WCS fall to us! Our frontcourt would be set for the next five years with Len/Stein/Kieff

Len or WCS can't be a four?

Yeah, I doubt we get Love, but having that cap space and going hard after Love will likely prevent McD from taking on McRoberts' contract to get the Miami pick.
