i would agree. Wasnt a big fan of Portis but his motor would be good for this team.

From Coro article after the workout:

"He made some plays out of the pick-and-roll," Suns General Manager Ryan McDonough said. "When you shoot the ball as well as he does or potentially could, you're able to lift some guys and up-fake and use the ball fake to make plays or create space for your shot. Defensively, he's pretty solid. He's still got a little ways to go there. He's young. He's 18 years old. Physically, he's able to do it. He's strong enough. He's tall enough. He's long enough."

Booker quieted concerns about his speed by posting the combine's fastest lane-agility and shuttle-run times. On Monday, he outraced his workout group with 27 court lengths in the three-minute run that ends Suns workouts.

Like the fact that Booker's the youngest guy in this draft, but is already a legit shooter. Best in this class. Lots of room for improvement, but he has all the time in the world. This pick's growing on me.

For a long time I have been calling for Tucker and Marcus to be benched in favor of Warren and Goodwin so the Suns could exclusively play Warren and Goodwin. However, a few fans on here said no way, Tucker is such a great defender, making it out as if Tucker is actually a quality basketball player. He is not. He absolutely sucks. So does Marcus. Could care less how young and inexperienced Warren and Goodwin are. Last season was the worst Suns season I have ever seen. Not just because of the tragedy on the court, but because of the decision of the coach to never play Goodwin and Warren. Some games they played 20 minutes and the following games they could not get off the bench. What a shame. This organization looks like the Phoenix Cardinals right now.

Likewise, I've been a huge fan of Harrell for awhile, I think he would be the perfect spark plug off the bench and an eventual starter at PF.

Btw, I am not disappointed with the Suns pick. I am disappointed that so far the Morris brothers and Tucker are still on this team. I wholeheartedly believed the Suns would trade at least one of those three guys tonight. Until they are gone, this team will be stuck in basketball oblivion while these losers suck the life out of the organization. I hate the fact that they still wear Suns uniforms.

I want to see the young guys get minutes, even if the team doesn't do as well, I'd rather see them get an opportunity than the crap show that we saw this past season. I don't see the point of Tucker, he's an older veteran but not a leader by any stretch, I'd rather see Warren get those minutes for better or worse. Develop the youth, even if you struggle that only means you get a higher draft pick next year and a better chance to draft a franchise cornerstone kind of player.
