Phil can save face with me if he's able to get a pick and take Wright.

We are well past the point in the draft where some guy getting picked means an established starter at that position is gone.

It's probably going to be a second rounder.

I'm cool with that, the more assets the better.

lol.. Told people not to ever believe a word the guy says.

he also said we needed skilled bigs. And from everything scouts suggest Porzingis can protect to rim.

Mudiay for all that he is good at ball handling, getting into the paint. He was never considered a lock down defender. He has potential but he wasn't considered a consistent defender from the scouting reports.

I liked Mudiay but I was happy with going with either guy. If this is the guy our scouts and phil wanted we got to trust that right now.

He can protect the rim from the weak side and most of that was in a zone. If you want to hang your hat on scouts telling you he's a rim protector have at it but I'm letting you know there are variables at play that led them to think that. All you had to do was watch his team play a little bit.

my notes that Im hoping zinger can work on:

his defense not too sure about, hopefully he gets to be a two way player that Phil said we would pick

When I saw his stats in games, I saw his Assists each game would be low so im hoping his passing can be good in the triangle perspective

I think hes a good piece to have, but i just wish for once we coulda gotten some luck..

Most of our needs will be addressed in free agency, the roster wasn't going to get filled out by the draft. We got a nice piece going forward. Needed skilled bigs. Phil never said threes were not important, he said you shouldn't design an offense that makes threes the top priority.
