Unlike the Zeller pick y'all tried to rally behind, Kaminsky can actually shoot and that'll make him tolerable.

Go ahead, don't be shy, be more specific. Say the name.

Re: The Frank Kaminsky Thread
I'll try to be positive... This is what Grantland's Rafe Bartholomew has to say about Frank.

But... We're not one of those "really good teams." FML.

Silver linking in Frank pick
I looked long and hard for this one and I think I found it. It's small, but it's better than nothing.
We have Cody and Frank, a failed stretch PF and a future failed stretch PF.
So we must have a deal lined up for Marvin.
Meanwhile the Kings have WCS and have no use for Jason Thompson.

Re: The Frank Kaminsky Thread
This pick was made because we are trying to build around 2 perimeter players Kemba and MKG who cant shoot and a post player who cant defend. That is the problem!!!..
1 It also results in Lance not fitting well.
2) Kemba , MKG and Hendo didnt play well on the court together
3) Adding stretch 4s and 5s to play with big al in the post, but they cant defend. Making our top 3 defense to middle of the pack.
If we had a clean slate roster, Winslow would have been the no-brainer pick.. instead we try and draft for fit with kemba, big Al, and MKG... Kemba is a 6th man of the year type talent, MKG is a glue guy, and Big Al doesnt play defense and might not be here long term anyway.
Take the best player available..Winslow

My only silver lining is maybe we won't play him and trade him in a year.

lol Im a dope. Apparently Jordan was the one in love with Frank, so he probably does deserve 2/3 of the blame.

Re: "Flat Out Boring": The Frank Kaminsky Thread
Hornets twitter feed is brutal. Never seen fans so pissed about something. We all were lukewarm on Frank, but passing on Winslow to take him is just so freaking unbelievable. Would have been very different if it was Johnson was passed on to draft Frank.
We better finish in the top 10 in 3s made next year. and top 15 in 3pt %. We better play fast and score a bunch, because we are not getting stops at the end of games.

i thought thats why we traded for Hawes, Batum and Lamb, we're meant to draft BPA

Re: "Flat Out Boring": The Frank Kaminsky Thread
Frank will never start over Zeller. At least Winslow had the potential to maybe play the 2 if Batum doesn't opt out, or perhaps even be better than MKG. Cho is full of **** when he talks about the drafting BPA nonsense. Didn't even come close to drafting the BPA.

if we aren't an above average offense, Cliff and CHo need to go.
I still dont have us making the playoffs
