That was Phil's first good move. I had said something a while back about Horace selling Phil on his nephew.

Player Evaluations By Chad Ford
Overall Rank 19
Position Rank 4
Hollinger PER 26.77
Projection Mid-First Round Pick

Positives
Long, athletic guard
Great size for his position
Can play both the one and the two
Excels at slashing to the basket
Very good pick-and-roll point guard
Gets to the free throw line
Good defender with lateral quickness
Excellent passer, sees the floor well
Excellent leadership qualities

Negatives
Needs to improve his jump shot
Can be too unselfish

More assists then any other player in the conf last 4 years as per Jason Williams....this may be the non typical pg that runs the triangle....look I love the value Phil got for THJ...but the Porbustus pick is baffling to me...the kid has the right attitude, but I just dont see his 190lb azz being NBA ready for at least 3 years...not what we need right now, I wanted Mudiay/Winslow, hell I wouldve took WCS over Porbustus!

It's a great trade... the PG's were all pretty close to my eye and that's the position I know the most.

Wright/Jones/Grant were all pretty close to me. Just depends on what you were looking for.

Phil interview coming up...

Like him with and behind Lowry, love him because he means my guys are slipping down.

Come on Portis, Hunter, Looney, and Jones

You guys won the draft. Added two assets and lost a terrible one.

Phil Jackson deserves GM of the year for getting a 1st out of THJ.

If this was Jacksons plan to swing big at 4 because he knew he could get Grant then hats off.

If Timmy is worth a first, Calderon gotta be worth a 2nd.

Man, I'm so pumped

I have a terrible feeling in my gut about this draft, I dont feel good about Porzingis or Grant.

Return to New York Knicks
