Pretty sure that was just a recap of the Ariza 3-way last year to explain how Houston got NOH's pick.

I'm hearing different things. So we still have our 2nd in this draft?

The report was two future second rounders. I suppose this years second rounder is technically a future pick, but I doubt that's what was meant.

That was last year when we did a sign and trade with Houston for a TPE.

I'm trying to figure out how to acquire a late 1st and still grab Portis. All we really have to offer is our TPE, but nobody below us is really dying to shed salary (and is looking to dump a player with a $4M contract).

I'm happy we added some athleticism

With Pierce out the door, Porter starting, i'd MUCH RATHER see Oubre getting minutes than our current crop of backup SF/SGs.

I still would have preferred a young PF.

I like that pick for Toronto. Wright should be a good backup for them.

Why do I think Portis is going to end up being San Antonio's next great draft coups?

Woj says the Bulls are looking at Portis @ 22, so if we want to move up, that's where to do it.

Can we absorb Hinrich's $2.8M salary to acquire Chicago's #22 pick?

I think Ernie would deserve HoF considerations for that move. Of course the downside would be, he'd be the one making the pick, again.

When they announced the trade, all I could think of was Blatche/Young/McGee. Guys that all represented value when we got them, and athleticism (well in some instances). Just felt like a call back to picks we made almost a decade ago.

Little concerned on the write up from cbs, i think cbs anyway, really unpleasant compared to Bilas and others.

Still somewhat okay with the pick, but Portis would have been the guy I'd have taken. Still, two future second rounders to move up into position for Portis, but we get Oubre? That was virtually nothing. Crazy.
