Now Ernie just needs to sell this years 2nd rounder and a #soWizards draft night is complete.

Goodnight folks. It's been fun tonight. (But frustrated with the frequent crashes.) A good night's sleep may be just the tonic.

I guess EG that this is good enough for next season?. So gave him a chance try Oubre?

The night and the offseason are still young. Let's see what happens.

LOL

The Wizards have traded their 2015 second round pick to the Chicago Bulls for CASH CONSIDERATIONS.

You guys with the Portis hard on are being ridiculous. The only reason you hate this pick and is because you knew Oubre wasn't going to be in our range so you didn't even bother to look into him. Snap Judgements at it's finest. Oubre was easily the BPA on the board by a good margin and this team needs everything right now, and we traded pennies to move up and get him. Stop tripping.

WOW, Tyus Jones to Minny (good move they need a backup PG). Cle gets 31 & 36 (good move to avoid guaranteed contracts).

Looney is going to the Spurs

If we can get Holmes at 49, it'd be awesome

Hmm. CLE just traded their pick to MIN for two second rounders. I suppose we didn't have much opportunity to beat that.

This pick looks to me like the Wizards looking past next season and focusing their sights fully on 2016/17.

Oubre far from a polished product, 19 and didn't play a whole lot this past season as a freshman. Would of benefited from another year of College, this is an upside pick. We'll see how it turns out. Ernie's track record of high upside mid 1st rounders invokes Nick Young and McGee.

So much for LeBron picking Tyus Jones. I'm starting to like the Oubre pick but EG is going to have to do some work in getting a backup PF and C. In other words, it's back to Nene starting at PF unless Hump can develop a 3-ball or Otto puts on 25 pounds (not likely) so he can play the 4.

Like I said earlier in this thread, teams are worried about Looney's hip. Just like they probably won't draft the big kid Robert Upshaw due to drugs/heart condition.
