I'm kinda surprised we didn't trade back in.

I chuckle at people convincing themselves each year that we will be trading up and/or adding multiple picks.

I've had the same thought, and all I can figure out from individual cases is a lot of them come in physically really undeveloped, but skilled and know the game. Then when their bodies catch up they kind of become beasts. That was the case with Curry and Nance. Nance has Crohn's, it made him unable to put on weight before. That led him to Wyoming. But then they often become underrated coming in to the draft. Thompson, and I think Grant now did too. So there might be some over-compensation for them being sons of former players.

GP's son fits this mold too. Went to JUCO, I think because he wanted to get noticed so he could go to a better team (could have been grades though), then only ended up at Oregon State. Was Pac 12 defensive POY there last year, is a big time athlete, can handle, pass, score around the basket, and at least shoot respectably. But he isn't even on mock drafts for next year.

Our roster is full now. We'll cut Jorge to accommodate Rolo next week.

I like Larry Sanders showing up on the big video board as the Bucks picks are announced tonight. Is the league mocking the Bucks or what?
