After the draft, it looks like we need a backup center, and we'll probably be trading away Jarrett Jack. I still think Joe Johnson is going to get moved, although I don't think I'd mind having him around on a contract year. Signing Brook to a 3 year deal would be great for us, but I'm bracing myself for the Thad overpay. The offseason should be wild as a ton of names are on the market, but with our cap situation I think we'll be SOL.

Maybe we go after javale McGee for backup?

We need backup BIGS... Jordan might be brought back but he's a #3 imo...

If they're serious about signing Brook to a 3yr max, I can't see a way for Thad to get more years. Thad on a 2yr deal is ok, and is permissible on a 3-yr. I'll barf at a 4-yr contract though.

Although I don't mind the Chris McCullough selection, I felt way better about it after we got RHJ. It makes the risk more worth taking, in my opinion.

What about a 3 way trade with the Kings and Nuggets.... Something along the lines of getting Gay for JJ and sending Lawson to Sac? Obviously other fillers to make deal work.

Lawson and Karl reunited and Sac needs a PG anyway. Lots of drama with Lawson in Denver anyway.

Mundiay is the new PG of the Nuggets and get JJ for a year before he's off the books.

Gay is reunited with Hollins and we can let Thad walk. Gay is probably better than JJ at this point. Gay and RHJ could be interesting forward pairing.

Shipping out Plumlee obviously means king knows Brook will resign. Or does it.... King is the master of disaster.

Now also will be interesting to see what happens with Anderson, Teletovic, and young.

I'm pleased with the RHJ acquisition, an SF with long arms that can defend both perimeter spots, rebound, slash and can pass a little.

I'm not sold on McCullough at all because I've read his motor is **** and I have zero tolerance for low effort players on this team but hopefully he can develop.

Not bad King.

Still pissed we didn't take Harrell. At #29 anyone you get is a long shot to even be a rotation guy, but if nothing else montrez was going to outwork everyone on the team and let them know about it and was a guy fans would appreciate. To me that was a big miss.

I like rhj. Bring in a defender. But terrible trade value. Plumlee was the 22 pick, proved he was a legit player and he gets you only the 23 pick?

RHJ can guard PF, SF and SG at a high level. He might have been the best defender available. He is very active and gets a lot of steals and blocks. Between him and Thad, we should get a lot more turnovers.

He is also one of the best rebounding SFs to come out in a while. We need that if Thad is the PF.

If we're planning on putting out RHJ, Thad, and Brook...then that paint is going to be so clogged by defenders
