When I saw the purported Royce White summer league deal, it wasn't even surprising that we'd be the one team talking about giving this guy another shot.

was reading about branden dawson on clipperholics. kinda made him sound like an athletic draymond green clone, defensively, or at least potentially.

dunno where he stands to be picked draft-wise, but would be nice to work him out or get him some play in summer league if he goes undrafted.

Branden Dawson was in for a draft workout last week. I've seen his name mentioned a few times from fans on Twitter. Same coach, undersized and defensive potential. I'm all for adding athletic defenders. Not knowing if we'd buy a pick or where it would be, I haven't really bothered reading up on many of these guys yet.

In the "Is there ANY way we can get back into the 2015 draft?" thread, I've posted the players that have or will work out and linked their Draft Express profiles.

I've always enjoyed summer league, hopefully we get some good prospects to play for us.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

apparently he said he's ok with flying but he'd rather be on land if it's at all an option.

i don't know what kind of player he is but guess i'd take a flyer if he still has some of that lotto talent left. that said, houston (morey) pretty much raked him over the coals when they got rid of him, so i think there's something bad in a big way going on with him.

lol guess the FO is really feeling the pressure to make something happen if they're flying around to meet scrubs.

don't get me wrong, i want royce white to work and be our random-off-the-street-scrub-turned-khris-middleton. but annoying as daryl morey is, there's gotta be a reason he eviscerated the guy on social media.

Anxiously waiting to see how bad Royce White wants to be a Clipper. Should be an entertaining SL.

from what i heard he just wants to audition for any team. i don't think being a clipper matters to him.

Maybe but he'd be a solid reserve PF if his head is right.

I'm curiuos to see how Royce performs. I know SL is hardly a good indicator of anything (scrubs winning SL MVP awards), but I want to see what type of condition he is in. IIRC, he was disappointing in the last SL (or pre-season, can't remember). Sad to say the only thing I can remember of Royce is that draft day documentary, and #BeWell.

I didn't hear/read it myself, but apparently Fran Fraschilla said that M'Baye would be back with the Clippers in the Summer League. Fraschilla's son James, was a teammate of M'Baye's, and he's helped CP3 with his camp the last 2 years. So that's likely a done deal as well.

I thought he played well for our SL team last season, so it's cool to see him get another shot. Maybe he's the new Nik Caner-Medley.

I can't wait to see our Summer League roster. I really hope DJ Newbill joins our squad.
