Without Justise Winslow, that Duke team wouldn't have come close to winning the championship. He hit clutch shot after the clutch shot for them and was relentless attack the basket. And his defense and playmaking were more impressive still. Yes, his spot-up mid-range shot needs a lot of work and he's not as tall or as long as others, but he is a terrific athlete, smart as hell, and, with hard work (which he seems eminently willing to put in) he will flourish.

Wow guys I still can't believe it. My internet was out for a few days and I had to listen to the draft like a hurricane survivor.

I don't know anything about the 2nd round guy. My guess is that he already agreed to spend the year in sioux falls, because they passed on some good talent. Dakari Johnson, Connaughton, Norman Powell. Even the guys who fell out of the draft are intriguing. Jaiteh, Upshaw, Wood, Alexander, Boatright. I kind of wished we traded the pick. They need to start grooming a backup center. But there are guys out there. I heard they'll have Willie Reed in summer league. He averaged like 16.5 pts and 12.2 rebs and 2 blk in the d league this year.

Anybody else notice the discrepancies in height of the draftees when they posed for the group picture? Mudiay is NOT 6'5". He's barely taller than Cam Payne.
