I'm taking my talents to South Beach

Post#1 » by R-DAWG » Fri Jun 26, 2015 1:32 pm

I'm a life long Knick fan and season ticket holder but last night was too much. I can't deal with that clown organization. I'm taking my talents to south beach!!!

Last year the Heat became my go to league pass team. I have so much respect for Pat Riley, as much as I hated him for leaving the Knicks, it was the best decision he ever made. I enjoy watching Wade and Bosh moving on without Lebron and trying to keep HeatNation alive. Adding pieces like Deng and Dragic. High upside young guys like Whiteside and Winslow. And let's be honest, everyone loves Mario Chalmers.

So Dj Ire que the Seven Nation Army for dos minutos. Order some steaks from Prime 112. I have my plad shirt on and Jim Gray is ready. I'm following the coach who helped me become a huge basketball fan in the early 90's.

Ok real talk - do the Heat offer mini season ticket packages. Like if I wanted tickets for 5-7 games to plan long weekends in South Beach?
What are the reasonably priced hotels in the area?
Does Birdman have enough tatoos?

It's never too late for true redemption, when your heart is pure. Praise Lord Riley who showed you the light. Your past sins shall all be forgiven.

Welcome home, Brother.

Poor guy just moved his soul from basketball Hell to Basketball heaven and all it took was the Pringels pick.

When I was a kid I used to slick my hair back and wear a suit to look like Riley when he coached the Knicks
I will never forget the night my mom walked into my room and said Pat Riley quit
I strive to be like Pat Riley, just a pure winner who takes calculated risks

Onto more important things. Weekends in Miami:
Wake up, chill on beach with topless girls tanning, go to the Heat game, hit Prime 112 for dinner, then off to LIV, is that still the spot?
Hopefully find a chick to tickle in Brickell

Gary Neal with the mini mid level?

The Prozingis pick is the nail in the coffin. I feel much better with Bosh. People clown on him but he won game 6 in 2013. People give Ray Allen all the credit but Bosh had the 3 biggest plays of the game:

- rebound and assist to Ray Allen
- blocked shot at the top of the key on Tony Parker at the end of regulation
- flying across the court to block Danny Green's 3 and seal the game

#1 will be hanging from the rafters next to #3, #33 and #10 one day (and whatever number Winslow will wear).

Would love Winslow to take #6 - although that belongs in the rafters as well.

nah you need a low IQ clown on the roster to make things interesting. And not for nothing, Mario Chalmers won game 4 of the 2012 NBA Finals when LeBron cramped up.

I watched 30 Heat games last year and Rio was very effective coming off the bench in attack mode. Can defend and make 3 pointers.

Oh boy... that moment when you will get to know who Wario Chalmers is the first time in your life. That will be a special day for you as a Heat fan and you will never forget it. Until then, have fun.

Mario Chalmers is a rich man's JR Smith.

Is Henry Bill Walker coming back and if so is he changing his name again?

I agree that the Grant/Hardaway trade was great. But the Porzingis pick when they don't have a pick next year and are building around a 31 year old max player just doesn't make sense. There is no plan.

I'm buying a Mario Chalmers jersey. Rich man's JR Smith!

Maybe if they bring back the 2012 Jay-Z/Kanye intro music we get more Mario Chalmers take overs. We need Mario Chalmers taking over games - it just makes the world a better place.

No. Don't abandon your hometown team. Stick with the Knicks. Sure, if you want to support the HEAT as a secondary or tertiary option, fine, but don't abandon your team just because their management is mismanaging. LP has options for up to five teams; if Miami is one of them, great. No. You're welcome here, but not as someone who's abandoning his original allegiance.

Take it from someone who grew up in Brooklyn as a fan of the Knicks and an adopted fan of the Lakers after his uncle showed him tapes of Magic and Kareem in the 80s. All three teams are close to my heart, but I won't leave one high and dry.

Return to Miami Heat
