SVG would sign D-league players if they can play, thats just how he rolls. Whatever he does my be too conventional, but he delivers.

here's and example of a player we could have got.

Christian Wood agreed to a free-agent deal with the Houston Rockets, according to sources.

Wood will sign a partially guaranteed contract.

Wood performed below standards in pre-draft workouts and dropped completely out of the second round on Thursday night.

Fair enough, I wasn't exactly picking on him. I just remember him for the weird obsession with former Tiger Casey Fien.
He goes on weird tangents on nonsense things. Hence, a "kellmellus50" thread.

Partially guaranteed means he goes to camp with them and then cut - but they get to then designate him to their D-League team. I like that angle, and if you pay the kid enough with the partial guarantee you basically have a handshake that he won't accept a 10-day call up anywhere else for the season.

This is a really dumb thread but I do wish we would have gave Upshaw a invite. Lakers gave him one and he's going to end up avg like 5-6 bpg or something outrageous.

Seriously? Who?

Kellmellus, you've gone back to being Kellmellus.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

I liked Petteway but to be honest as long as he is playing in Orlando that's enough. SVG will be at all the games and practices so he can see him. It doesn't matter what color jersey a prospect is wearing in Orlando.
