In my top5 there are no Guards and in my top10 there is only one, Jamal Murray who will play for UK and it is a similar PG in the mold of Russell, Exum and company, crafty, not an elite athlete, good scorer, well rounded.
No idea, the 76ers will have two top10 picks, theirs and LA, so they can diversify, getting something like Murray and Ingram/Brown will be a good Draft.
Simmons, Labissiere and Bender look good but they are bigs.

Briscoe is nothing special, he is worse than Murray, and Jackson, Trimble or Dunn will go ahead of him too.

The point guard class is not particularly strong next year, granted there can be players off the radar the rise but right now it doesnt look like a good crop. Of the current college crop Kris Dunn looks to be the top choice, of the incoming freshman, Derryk Thornton who is committed to Duke and Jamal Murray who recently committed to Kentucky are two others to keep an eye on.

The PG class is strong, there are at least 5 lotto talents, the SG class however is crapp, and the strength of the class is at PF.

he is a good PG, but he is not nearly as skilled as Paul as a creator and he is not an elite athlete, he is big and strong but not explosive or that quick, he needs to get his shot going at a high level to be a potential starter.
my bet is that he gets drafted in the late lotto-twenties range, if he declares.
Ulis could be a steal, typical high talented guard that gets not enough respect due to his size, the guy is really good, he should be a 1st rounder.

What are you doing over here in the sixers forums, thought you were a Knicks fan lol. Point guard class strong, atleast five lottery point guards, I havent extensively scouted this class yet as the college season is the time to really dive in but I dont see any indication that there are remotely close to the amount of lottery point guards that you speak of. Who are we talking about here? Kris Dunn is one, who are the other 4.

Jamal Murray
Demetrius Jackson
Melo Trimble
Kris Dunn
Derryck Thornton

And we will see what Newman shows and if he develops as a PG, same with Blakeney, EC Matthews is an interesting combo, Wallace is another, I like Ulis as a 1st rounder, you have Briscoe, and experience NCAA players like Ferrell, Baker, Van Vleet, Monte Morris, ITaylor, Barber, Paige, internationally, Fuzaro, George Lucas de Paula, Sipahi, Håkansson...
Is a strong PG class, I'd say after PF, PG is the strongest position, at least in terms of depth.

I would say there is literally 0 chance that 5 are in the lottery, I would set the over/under at 2.5 and I would probably take the under. Only one I am confident in saying will be a lottery pick is Dunn. Murray is borderline for me, Thornton I havent seen actually play, I love what I have seen from highlights but he measured out quite poorly, he is borderline for me. I dont see anyone else named cracking the lottery. I dont consider Newman or Blakeney point guards, they might though. To me you named a bunch of guys who are boderline 1st round guys to undrafted guys. Not to mention none of the point guards look like all star level talents. Not a strong class to me.

Well, there you have it, out of curiosity I made my first mock, I have 8 possible PGs, some are combos, in the 1st, 5 in the lotto, and I left out Thornton because I am not certain that he will be one&done.
The standings are what I think will happen as of today, I factor FA and more or less try to predict who goes where, that will change and the mock too of course,

I predicted the standings and order based on what I think will happen in the FA and trades, that of course will change during the summer

I would definitely add Dwayne Bacon, Alonzo Trier, and Antonio Blakeney as 1 and done 1st rounders. Really disagree with alot of the rankings as well, I think youre wayyyy off on quite a few.

I believe in Philly! I'm honestly scared that they'll be really good in a hurry.

Ideally Simmons is a PF, I dont see that frontcourt working at all, Ingram is 6'10, and clearly a SF.

Could you imagine of Jordan Mickey and Jarell Martin had stayed another year?

Ultimately, ya'll still will be the heavy favorite because they have no rim protector with Mickey departing. So all the talent in the world on the wings ain't gonna matter if they're giving up high percentage looks in the paint. Skal is gonna feast on their frontline.

Great effort with the early mock fischella. Not quite sure I'm ready for another year long countdown til the next draft but hey, maybe I am. Lol, we will get another big I assume.

This kid SImmons looks absolutely insane. Honestly, not even Andrew Wiggin's mixtape wowed me as much as Simmons. There is absolutely NO REASON he couldn't play SF in this league, especially if he learns how to shoot. I also love Kris Dunn.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
