This may not count but again in a different direction, I think Jrue Holiday. If finally healthy, playing in Gentry's offense with Anthony Davis, I think he is one of the most complete players in the league. I have watched him go head to head with Damian Lillard, Steph Curry, James Harden, etc. and be every bit as good. I think Holiday fits this description.

I feel like I am definitely capturing the spirit of the OP's question, and I would expect the OP to back me up here.

I think Otto Porter showed signs of busting out last year, after a couple of middling years.

I think Aaron Gordon is going to be a big time player. I bet by the end of the year, we are talking about him as a future All-Star. Not really unexpected, as he was the 4th pick a year ago, but he's got real talent.

A really under the radar guy that I like, who I just thinks needs an opportunity is Kyle Anderson. I think he's a player. The Spurs just haven't needed him yet. I bet he ends up a really good player.

And I love what someone else said about Rodney Hood. He can play and has good size for his position.

Oh, and I haven't given up on Thomas Robinson yet. I'll be the last guy on that train.

From March 20th through the playoffs CJ McCollum was putting up some pretty crazy numbers. He very well could get big minutes this year.

I don't think he's going to be perceived as a star because of other holes in his game (outside shot, defense), but Reggie Jackson is going to put up some crazy assist numbers next year, as the second best ball handler and vision guy on the roster is probably Stanley Johnson (assuming Jennings isn't healthy), meaning a huge step down. Don't be shocked if Reggie averages 10 assists and gets consideration for the all-star team. SVG's system makes his PG's look good.
