I would enjoy having deandre Jordan here. I may be in the minority about this but I believe that Jordan has more offensive skill than given credit for. He literally didn't get the ball with the clippers unless it was for a dunk and teams usually foul him when he has deep position. It wouldn't surprise me if he had a hook over both shoulders and have the ability to drop step on weaker guys and slam.

The fouling wouldn't be too much of a issue to me. Sure he's bad a free throws but if teams
Want to get us in the penalty that early so be it. The record with the clippers show that the hack method doesn't equate wins. Plus if he's getting constant touches through out the game, are teams seriously going to take intentional fouls on him with their key players?

Anyone? Everyone already is/should be on board for Ellis. I personnally love his playing style. Him pairing with Green or Middleton can be incredible.

Grant
Carroll
Carmelo
PorZingis
Deandre

Nobodys getting pass that back court of grant/carroll easily even if they do you have deandre jordan and a 7"3 porzingis with long arms and is a good help defender down low.

Calderon and galloway off the bench leading the second unit.. Maybe bring back amundson & jason for the simple fact their already familar with the triangle already and are decent players off the bench.

No need to get super fancy this off-season just get what you need. The cap is going up next season and the free agency pool looks even better

If you can get gasol or aldridge thats fantastic if you cant i like this alternative route and it improves our defense alot

If he were to come to NYC, the team makes that turn towards relevancy again with him playing well, and we are true to getting him more involved, he could be an all-star for sure.

I know a lot of you don't like the idea of him, but I would absolutely LOVE to have Jordan anchoring KRISTAPS and Melo from the paint.

Call me foolish, but I would almost feel bad for the Clippers if they lost DeAndre to us because they would have no center and basically their playoff chances would be cooked.

I would wonder if they would do a sign and trade for a TPE. Then maybe Hibbert can be routed to them for a portion of the TPE and we can get a 2nd asset for providing them with the cap space (we get the asset because we are doing LAC the favor in the first place allowing them to replace their hole at center despite being over the cap).

Pacers then are basically where we are with 2 guys on contract and a roster to fill.

DeAndre may be the most impactfull player out there via FA due to his offensive efficiency, his defensive presence, and his rebounding. He, like Tyson, does need a foil so he can play more aggressive. Still a great investment though if we can get him and can take a bad defensive team and make them above average (Crawford, Blake). Modern day Ewing (with Shaqs ft though :-()

I would not mind Pierce on a 1-year deal. He can help tremendously.

West 2-year deal. Pierce 1-year deal. Get Robin Lopez on a multi-year deal.

You still have some money to play with and you can wait on the bargain deals towards the end of free agency.

Lopez/Kris
West
Melo
Pierce/Shved
Grant/Gallo

New York Knicks Roster Rumors: 5 NBA Free Agents the Knicks Should Consider Signing This Offseason

The New York Knicks are coming off a year in which they set franchise records for most losses and worst win percentage in a single season. The Knicks have so much to fix from top to bottom. The Knicks' offense ranked dead last and their defense ranked 21st in the league last season.
Free agency begins July 1, and the Knicks are expected to be very busy.
Here are five free agents the Knicks should consider signing this offseason.

1. LaMarcus Aldridge
The big name set to hit the market. Aldridge is viewed by most NBA fans as the best player set to become an NBA free agent this offseason. Aldridge has played his entire career with the Portland Trail Blazers, but more than likely he'll be elsewhere next season. The frontrunners to land Aldridge this offseason are the Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Lakers. The Knicks will have to offer a pretty penny to get Aldridge, but he could be worth it. It's probably better for the Knicks to lay off breaking the bank here considering Aldridge turns 30 in July and the Knicks have so many other options. If Aldridge is willing to except less to play for the Knicks, than that's a different story.
2. DeAndre Jordan
This is the guy the Knicks should focus on most this offseason. Just 26 years old, DeAndre Jordan is a beast of a player in the paint area who can play both power forward and center. Jordan has led the NBA in field goal percentage the last three consecutive seasons, and both total rebounds and defensive boards the last two years. The big elephant in the room here is free throw shooting. Obviously Jordan has to improve from the free throw line, but he's well worth the addition. Back in March Jordan said he "loves New York City." Maybe the bright lights of the Big Apple can lure him in to Madison Square Garden.
3. Rajon Rondo
This is a really tough situation as the Knicks have limited options and they have a need for a point guard. Reggie Jackson, Patrick Beverly, Norris Cole and Brandon Knight are all restricted free agents, and Goran Dragic has a player option with the Miami Heat. Rajon Rondo can be a headache, but the Knicks might have something here. Not only would they get an extremely good ball distributor who still just 29 years old, but they can get him at a discount. Rondo cost himself millions because of his antics last year with the Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics. Could a Rondo- Carmelo Anthony duo work? One can only wonder.
Rajon Rondo is a great passer, but he can be a questionable teammate.
4. Danny Green
He's not a superstar, but he can shoot. Danny Green is one of the best three point shooters in the league, and the Knicks need someone like him on the roster to help stretch the floor. Last season the Knicks ranked 20th in the league in three point shots made. If this triangle offense experiment is going to work, head coach Derek Fisher needs a reliable perimeter shooter. Green is a terrific shooter, but he's obviously not a superstar meaning he won't come at an extremely high price. Green is just 27 years old and he is from New York.
5. Greg Monroe
It's going to be very difficult to get Aldridge with about half the league aiming for him. Jordan would be great, but there's no guarantees in NBA free agency. The Knicks have a need for a big man, and 25-year-old Greg Monroe could be their guy. Monroe will be an unrestricted free agent come July 1, like everyone else listed above. He's very underrated, makes nearly 70 percent of his free throws, and he's a great free throw shooter. With so many teams focusing on Jordan, Aldridge and Marc Gasol, the Knicks might be able to get Monroe at a bargain.

What about bismack biyombo? I think for a cheap defender he can fit in...
J.R. Smith's last-second whiff left the Knicks with a sixth straight loss. But J.R. would do it again. "I think we went with the best shot," he said.

I would take a look a Brook if he didn't have chronic foot injuries. Call me pessimistic but I don't trust bigs with his type of injuries.

LMA in LA would make Randle a backup PF it would seem.

Maybe Dray Green has everybody drunk to go small but not sure LMA would want that.

Randle's being dangled as a trade chip for Boogie. Allegedly.
