All you have to do is insert Kaminsky's name here in place of Cody.

Cho scouted. That's all been reported and verified.

Cho controls the data, not MJ.

The difference is, this time MJ didn't resist - he jumped in head first.

I'd love this pick had we drafted McLemore instead of Cody.

You know they refuse to accept that Cho would do anything they don't approve of.

Except Sik Infant. He turned into a Cho basher pretty quickly.

He campaigned for a Kemba trade and instead got a Lamb trade. Brothers forever.

Then he campaigned for Winslow, MKG with a 3 point shot.

Then our most untouchable piece with MKG, Vonleh got traded.

Then Kaminsky got drafted when Winslow was available.

The other posters who don't accept that CHO lobbied for Kaminsky… I'll never figure it out.

I think MJ put pressure on Cho to win now thus all these moves and the addition of shooting. That's MJ.

But Kaminsky was an easy sell for Cho because Kaminsky does everything he promised Zeller would do.

But you were always on the brink of bashing Cho. Clifford served as a buffer. Sik underwent a metamorphosis yet skipped the cocoon phase.

MJ knows better than to make the final call here, there's no way he hasn't learned his lesson. I fully believe it was a joint decision between the FO and coaching staff.

They didn't do all this shuffling around in the FO just to cop out and do whatever MJ felt like doing.

Its funny how everyone wants Cho to walk the plank but we if had built our team by what the majority of us say we'd be rocking a Thomas Robinson/Ben McLemore/ Nik Stauskas big 3 right now

Don't forget to add would've traded a 1st rounder for Iman Shumpert and would've signed Nikola Pekovic to be the center of the future

But if this team had drafted Hayward there would be rioting at TWC.

I'm ready to give the kid a chance. I mean jeez, everyone LOVES Nikola Mirotic and his potential and he's 24 years old

another funny angle is that last year a lot guys were crying about the fact we always draft "projects" and have to wait and hope for them to develop instead of getting the ready to go player like McBuckets.

So this year we take the ready to go player and its mayhem.

Now that we've had time to recover from our disappointment and dislike of this pick I think it's time to change the thread title. It's doesn't say good things about us as a community to give this guy a thread with an unflattering title before he's had to have a chance to prove himself. He's a 22 year old kid in a new city, it's time we treat him like a Hornet and actually try to support him.

I suggest Frank the Anti-Tank: The Frank Kaminsky Thread.

MJ might not have made the final call, but he definitely put pressure on staff that winning now was a priority.

I think Cho was allowed to tank for the 1 year and then was told to start winning. Last year was a complete failure especially due to all the hype, so he couldn't wait for a project this year.

Cho could be seen to doing a "good job" if that was the task he was given by his boss.

I'm not supporting him though, I supported/defended Cho for a while, but I'm over it.

Now that we have Frank, I would love to try to move Hawes and sign Biz.

its funny, I hate the Lance trade the most now for this reason.

He's probably the best deal we could get though and he did get us Lamb.

I wouldn't mind Hawes if I thought Al was going and Hawes was going to be a cheap option as a backup starter.
But Al is here for good.

Biz and Frank playing together just seems to make a lot of sense to me.

1 year? So, what do you call consecutive top 5 picks that resulted in MKG & Zeller, just 1 year of tanking?

Well you're obviously not going from worst ever to playoffs in a year, we actually tripled our win total between those seasons.

Its a quote that he said about our team and city just a year ago. Now that same team is paying him millions. I think he can deal with an ironic thread title

How about... if he plays good in summer league, we'll give him a new thread. That should be pretty easy for him. He needs to earn a nice thread title.

There's no way you could tell me that they were all-in on the Dunlap year. There was a intentional tank methodology in that season too. Therefore, there wasn't just 1 year to tank for Cho

I'd be rocking Kemba*/Winslow/Gilchrist/Vonleh/Biyombo

That would be the most unproven and lacking of scoring options roster in the entire NBA
