Yep, given the available options and the fact that we're seemingly a lock to make some kind of signing I'm good with Chandler.

Chandler looked pretty awful in the playoffs. Not really sure what the reason was for it but I'm more cautious about giving him a deal now than I was during the regular season.

No worries, we've got a Playoff Henson for that.

I know people are touting his numbers and rebounding rate from last year but all I saw from chandler when I watched the Mavs was 'Meh'. Would much rather slightly overpay for RoLo. Much rather.

Chandler is a bandaid move to me. Two years from now we will still be looking for our C of the future.

I think Chandler's still going to a contender. Him saying he's humbled is the equivalent of a girl telling you she's flattered when you ask her out. (Yes, this did happen to me in high school.)

It does seem much more likely he'd want to go to a contender at his age, what he's made in his career, and what he's achieved but still could. Not to mention he'd probably play in a warmer climate.

If the Kidd connection, relationship with his agent, and some exciting youngish players were surprisingly enough to get Chandler here, I would be pretty excited about next year's team, provided they did something else like the Gallo for Henson/Mayo deal that we were previously discussing. Then at least you have spacing and ready talent in your lineup to potentially win a lot of games next year. Chandler/Giannis/Gallo/Middleton/MCW; Jabari.

He'd be a good fit, don't want either of the Lopez twins.. Chandler is a great rebounder, a tough player and great for the PnR, we needed more toughness vs the Bulls.

If we want Chandler it looks like it would behoove us to strike hard and fast.

But more offense against Cleveland. I think the Bucks will beat the Bulls as long as Parker and Giannis stay healthy.

Centers I'd like in order, considering age, assumed contract, injury, what he brings to the team:

RoLo, Chandler, Monroe, Jordan, Brook

I don't get how so many people prefer Chandler to Jordan. Yes Chandler would be a cheaper shorter deal but you get what you pay for. Outside of FTs Jordan can do everything that Chandler does if not better and he's quite a bit younger and more athletic

Chandler is in obvious decline, will be very disappointing if he is added, I really see a pretty brutal offense moving forward if this is the case.

New owners, new era, #ownthefuture ... hope the Bucks finally think big and get Brook Lopez, not stopgap FA signings like Tyson Chandler. Bucks need better offense which Brolo can provide. I rather just go with Henson and Zaza than waste money getting Chandler.

The offense is basically 99% reliant on the wings/guards moving forward. If you need a certain center to not have a miserable offense something is wrong with those players.

That is why you move Vazquez to starter, which would help address many of the spacing issues

Count me in for Chandler. He shouldn't break the bank. I'd much prefer two years to three. Perhaps third year could be a team option. Is he a stopgap guy? Absolutely. It isn't uncommon for an NBA team to not have all five starting positions penciled in for the future within two years of a rebuild. Sometimes I think we have to remind ourselves that just three years ago Monta Ellis and Brandon Jennings were in our starting lineup.

Middleton/Giannis/Jabari and possibly MCW is our core. We put that together in two years. I think that's impressive. Once Chandler's deal is up, hopefully we've established a winning culture and Jabari and Giannis have blossomed, attracting a big free agent splash for our next big man. This team could use more salty vets. Chandler has won a title and I think that's invaluable to our young players.

If we can't sign Jordan or Gasol, I'd be cool with signing Chandler to a 3 year deal with the 3rd year being a partial or team option.
