Re: **The Official Karl-Anthony Towns Thread**
Towns must have read my Real GM post about how to be a Minnesota sports legend. Kid is doing EVERYTHING right. I hope now even the most die hard Okafor fans who were arguing with me weeks ago can start to see why I think this kid was our best hope. He has the will.

Ricky was able to dunk? [FLUSHED FACE]
Love Town's mentality and work ethic. First impression is extremely positive!

Loving KAT already. So pumped!!!
And fwiw, I'd rather have him wear 32 instead of 12. Having the 12 on a jersey just looks weird.

I'll turn around on 32, I'm just so used to seeing him wear 12

I'm happy for the timber wolves' fans, and I'm REALLY happy your franchise is in the West.

Tank is easier in the wild west.
At this pace we will be picking another key piece next year.

Re: **The Official Karl-Anthony Towns Thread**
It's going to be entertaining to say the least how badly Okafor is going to take losing. He made it clear that he was a "sore loser" and that he wouldn't tolerate losing in the press conference lol

He just dropped it.
Anyway you should've posted this in the Around the league thread, seems to be the wrong thread though.

Except Lavine wasn't saying **** me as in I don't want to be in Minny. Just was stunned that he was going to play in the NBA.
Listen to the full press conference and look at what Okafor does at the end, it's pretty obvious he's frustrated and will continue to be discontent as long as sixers are losing/tanking.

Anyone knows if Okafor can sign a 1 year deal like McDaniels (2nd round pick) and then become FA?
It's a risky form of escape.

I don't think he can. 1st rd rookie contracts are all about team's control.

Yup teams have you locked up for at least 5 years if you are a first round pick.

Then he is screwed. Only way for him to get out of this mess is to show the same attitude as MCW. Maybe then he will get a trade.
Thanks for answer, wasn't sure.
