In terms of size, mobility and skillset, he reminds me of DMC. Just really need to step up with his rebounding and defense.

I actually think he is more skilled down low and in the post than Cousins, especially coming out of college.
Cousins has a better jumper, and is a better rebounder. But also has a lower IQ and can be pretty inefficient.
And of course, Okafor seems to have his head on straight unlike Cousins, especially early on in his career.

Can def see how they compare tho.
skillset compares but cousins has the worst shot selection of any big man in the league

I agree, which is why I put inefficient and lower IQ with Cousins.

I was thinking about a DMC comparison, too, awhile back, but DMC had some dominant defensive numbers in college and is starting to show that defensive potential, now. I would be surprised if Okafor actually shows that, but I also think he'll be just fine on that end, over time.

Can't wait for the season to start just to see Okafor play and kill all the critics. Imo the wolves should have took him, not even going to talk about he Lakers. They going to regret their choices in a couple of years.

Big Oak be playing with my emotions a lot... he says the right thing... sometimes he makes me angsty with things like this

you guys see that game of 'beer pong, where it came down to NYK & 76ers, he intentionally avoided our cup...it was on bleacherreport

 :( stop it Prof. Oak =\ </3

Genuinely wish I had more context to go off, like what was being said... ect.

I'm loving Chuck Okafor! Dude is a breath of fresh air after K.J.'s mom. His interview with Dei was cool.

Doesn't change that he has 4 years on his rookie contract and then will be a restricted free agent. Off the court, he can be pouty all that he wants for however long that he's here, all that matters is his dominance on the court.

I'm sure he'll get over it. It's not like we're Milwaukee or Minny, guys. (Nothing against those cities, but if I'm 19 those aren't places I'd like to be)

The Mecca is less than 2 hours away from here...One of the perks of being in Philadelphia.

it maybe because of our temporary situation... roster ain't the sexiest active roster there is...
& the bad press we get... 76ers are one of the most Historic franchises in the league, most HOF players outside of LAL & Boston... like...3rd? winningest franchise in the league.. (going off 2K facts) top 5 market. People get lost in the NOW, & all of the negative press... they legit fail to realize, or acknowledge in how good of a situation we're in. Legit we're in a better situation than both NYK & LAL... I trust LA to get it together sooner though...NYKs are a hot mess.

We are not about mediocrity. From the outside I can see why he's mad but when he realizes that we just want to be a top tier team he's going to lead us there.

We have our pick next year just for starters, along with several others.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
