the other trade w/o porzingis that i listed was because ainge is getting desperate and he's going to throw the farm at them. we must be at least a little competitive in that respect. Have to add gerian to play with his brother, and an unprotected pick which will mean jack **** for us anyway if we have Okafor-Porzingis frontcourt to build around.
I don't care what anyone says, Okafor has the potential to be a straight up beast. On top of his absurd post scoring, he is a passer on the tier of Marc Gasol
He has a 7'5" wingspan. The length of Porzingis + Okafor front court would be godly. The combination of post scoring from Okafor and Porzingis' ability to operate from out far would be godly. Whoever we could land in 2018 wouldnt be nearly as good as Okafor.
I doubt they'd take Calderon honestly and probably have no interest in our other assets at this point so they'd likely want our 2018 1st. Truth be told Philly never should have taken Okafor but LA called Hinkie's bluff, his "process" is becoming a downright joke at this point as he seems to have no direction he's going other than acquiring assets and that will not sit well with players. He should start building a team that will fit together and compete.
Agreed.
Except I'm wiling to do Porzingis+2018 for Okafor too, but that's as far as I'm going
Hinkie definitely jumps on that
