Keep 'em low for the start of the season, even if we sign good free agents. It's a time of transition.
We could really be clicking after the All-Star break. Pacers 2016, baby.

Expectations for 2015-16
I'm saying nothing better then a 5th seed in the east with a record of around 40-42

I expect a lot of bad basketball for the first half of the season no matter who we sign. Trying to implement a new offense, re-working the defense, getting PG13 back into game shape, and presumably developing some young guys will be tough to watch at times.

Re: Expectations for 2015-16
Depending on what we do to fill the PF void left by West we might be pretty good. Does CJ Miles start at SG? Or do we get Stuckey resigned or do we get someone else. We should be tight with our money and not over reach we can be the 4 or 5 seed in the East, looks like:
Cleveland
Chicago
Atlanta
Washington
Pacers
Toronto
Milwaukee
Boston or Brooklyn

Really depends on how rusty we are heading into the season. Worst case scenario to me is the 8th seed.

Based on PG's return from injury this season and how good he looked I think he will hit the ground running next season after a full offseason of workouts and no Team USA obligations.
Indy is a move away from being right back into the thick of things. Miles is a better fit than Stephenson and the other Myles strengthens our front court. All we need is to replace DW's physical presence and we are good. TRob is an ideal candidate. I remember a game when he went after DWest after West hacked him. This tells me he has big enough stones to confront nearly anyone. Perfect fit.

I agree. I would love to see them get Millsap although the Pacers probably can't afford him

Milsap would be great but we'd probably have to dump Roy's contract to afford him. I don't see the attraction in TRob.

We need an enforcer or two and he is a cheap option who is more than capable of effectively playing a reserve role. Milsap would be nice too.

Re: Expectations for 2015-16
While DW's toughness is imperative, I feel his locker room presence was far more important. We need to find a player who can replace his toughness and one who can replace his voice.
Worst case scenario (lots of injuries again) is 32-50 miss playoffs
Best case scenario (PG is a super duper star) is 55-27 3 seed in playoffs
