I could get excited about that team. I'm no capologist, but the Vasquez move can't be helping us right now. And we'd probably need to dump Mayo to make room for Bledsoe, Khris and Monroe.

What the hell is PHX thinking the last 2 years with their PG/SG situation? They overload last year in guards who all play the same way, now they'd choose Knight over Bledsoe?

They've gotten a look at Bledsoe over 2 full seasons in PHX yet choose to pay an imitation PG $14M/yr only to show Bledsoe the door?

Don't get it one bit.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

I'd be okay with that. Now that we have Vasquez, he can backup the SG spot. Same with Bayless.

MCW + Henson + Mayo for Bledsoe. Also gives us more roster flexibility to bring back Dudz.

If the Bucks wanted Bledsoe so badly what has changed since the deadline where the Suns would value our assets for him more?

Yes we've kicked the tires on MCW now. But if Phoenix has made a new decision to trade Bledsoe, I don't see why they would be targeting yet another point guard either -- even if it's coming with Henson and a pick.

It sounds like they are enamored with Knight and if they're willing to give him 5/70 I could see them changing their attitude about Bledsoe. They also just drafted Booker and maybe want him to start right away. A Knight/Booker backcourt with MCW backing up both spots would be nice and if they strike out on getting Love/Aldridge in free agency, Henson might be a nice consolation prize for them in their eyes.

I'm not sure why people think Monroe upgrades our offense. He is not a good shooter, nor an above average athlete. He camps in the paint, fights for rebounds, is a good passer, and is pretty crafty at taking what the defense offers. By no means a guy you run offense through or strive to get shots for. Defensively, he is a guy you have to adjust your scheme to cover for. Zaza is not a good defender, but smart enough to execute his assignments. There are some pick and roll coverages that Monroe can't even execute.

Gasol is the guy that puts us in the Eastern Conference Finals, but his acquisition is unfathomable.

Robin Lopez is the gettable guy who matches Zaza's size and strength, upgrades his rebounding and defense, and is basically a wash on offense. I know it is not an exciting acquisition, but I expect our wins would rise significantly with this type of signing.

It sure would've been nice if we could've just traded Knight for Bledsoe.

I wish Jason Kidd had some younger friends in the league. Oh well

He does. Careful what you wish for.

Yeah, checking in on Knight to watch him last year helped to realize this about him. I would not replace MCW with EB.

Monroe in the paint will draw a double team and can pass out of it to the open shooter, RoLo won't, and the difference in price is maybe 3mil?

Just throwing this out there... could anyone see the Suns/Bucks/Sixers getting together for another 3 team deal?

Sixers get Bledsoe
Bucks get Noel
Suns get Mayo, Henson, Future Bucks 1st

Short answer? No

Sixers are still in full tank mode and adding Bledsoe with his contract contridicts what they're trying to do.

Plus I think it'd be more feasible to just cut philly out, take on Bledsoe ourselves and sign a center in FA

Embiid's ongoing foot injury: http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/238428/76ers-Legitimately-Concerned-About-Joel-Embiids-Right-Foot

Even up to the day of the draft, I wavered on the prospect of the Bucks picking Embiid. If he's ever right again, he could have been the best outcome for the Bucks (or anyone). Stuff like the ongoing problem with his foot, make him look more like the lost career of Greg Oden.

Normally I am dead set against trading away a future first.

As it sits right now, I could actually see us doing it.

For starters it may still hold good value. I am confident we will become a winning team, hopefully a strong playoff team soon. We haven't won yet, so the value is probably reasonably high.

We are young enough at the moment. I would much rather start to bring in complimentary talent and start to assume we will be led by Parker and Giannis. Of course hopeful that somehow we find a 3rd "star" to join them.

We are no longer a losing team trying to lose to acquire good draft picks. We are now going to be a team on the winning side of things. How much winning how soon will be dependent on the health of the team and the growth of our star players.

I am all for taking our chances with the core players on this team. Swing for the fences in FA and trade and try to start winning now. Granted we wont be the team we can be in a year or two, but now's the time to take our swing at it and let it develop.

Seems like a steep price to pay... Count me in the camp that thinks Bledsoe is overrated, especially by this board.

This board fondly remembers his Clippers days and conveniently forgets his Suns days. I would not do the suggested deal and feel the Bucks would be a large net loser, if made.

People also remember Henson's and MCW's Bucks days. Which is why they'd do this deal.
