Re: Offseason Trade and Free Agency Discussion
Minny is in an interesting spot. The city is a buzz with getting Towns, and the return of KG. I think they will let the young guys gel and figure things out, and move Bennent. If it works, then they could be a fringe playoff team. If it doesn't work, then they don't have to give their first to Boston, and only give up two second rounders. Either way, the young guys get another year to get used to each other.

Marc Stein....
Bledsoe will be traded IF we can grab someone for him like Hayward, Tobias Harris ( S&T) or Oladipo.
Parker is too much, he is not available, big Star potential like Wiggins.
But, but, but...just a few pages back, McD was quoted saying Bledsoe is a key piece to our future and the Suns are not looking to trade him at all???

Yep, I wouldn't be surprised to see Bledsoe included in a trade this off-season--also wouldn't be surprised if he isn't. But this notion that somehow Bledsoe is 'off-limits' is simply bunk.

He said the Suns are not dangling him, which I believe. Stein's comment is clearly speculation that because the Suns are signing Knight, Bledsoe will be available. McD never said Bled was "off-limits" and he wouldn't because he's not. ANYONE is tradeable for the right deal.

I seriously doubt Bledsoe will be traded. I think the only deal that makes sense is Porzingis.

I think the Kings will try offering us an expriring, Stauskas, and McLemore. I can't see them offering WCS or Gay.
Probably not going to be a good trade partner
I doubt they'd give us both of those guys. Probably Collison, who would be a good backup PG, and maybe a pick and a PF since they have so many.
Look at their depth chart....PG and PF are 4 deep. Every other position two deep. Andre Miller might be a good vet as well.

I'd be content with Stein and Collison. We can add more to the deal to sweeten it for them.

Re: Offseason Trade and Free Agency Discussion
Warriors want to dump Lee and drafted Looney, who the Raptors reportedly wanted bad. Maybe we could do something like Tucker to Warriors, Looney to Raptors, Lee and Raptors' rights to worse of DEN/NYK 2016 picks to Suns.
Warriors: unload Lee's contract and get a serviceable vet / tradeable contract in PJ Tucker, at the cost of only Looney, who was a late pick and a multi-year project.
Raptors: get their guy from the draft in exchange for the DEN/NYK pick. The value of that pick all depends on whether NYK can reload this summer through free agency. If both DEN and NYK are bad, it'll be a lottery pick. But if NYK gets a lot better, it's just a mid first-rounder. Might have to sweeten the deal a little more to get them to do this.
Suns: In Lee we get a decent player at a position of need who could help us in the short term, and/or we can see him as an expiring contract that could be packaged with picks and etc. in a mid-season trade for a bigger star. We take a gamble that the Knicks continue to be a flustercluck and both DEN & NYK end up in the lottery. Worst case: we're giving up Tucker and taking on a big contract that basically eats up all our cap space for free agents this summer in exchange for a mid-first-round pick. Best case: we weren't going to get a big-name FA signing this summer anyway, so we use our cap space temporarily to gain another asset, which turns out to be a top-five pick in 2016.

They are not going to trade WCS. They drafted him because Cousins wanted him badly for his rim protection and defensive abilities, since DMC is a monster on offense and rebounding.

Re: Offseason Trade and Free Agency Discussion
The Phoenix Suns have interest in trading Eric Bledsoe this offseason, but an acceptable deal may be difficult for the team to find.
Bledsoe signed a new deal last offseason with the Suns after a prolonged restricted free agency.
“There was a reason,” one general manager told SN, “that no one wanted to give him that ($70 million) contract last year. I think you still have to worry about his health. I think you worry about how coachable he is, too.”
Bledsoe has four years and $57 million left on his contract.
The Suns are expected to sign Brandon Knight to a new contract.
One team expected to express interest in Bledsoe are the Sacramento Kings.

I think people need to stop assuming that Bledsoe is some hot asset when it's obvious by now that he's not.
The reason McD may not trade him isn't because he's in love with Bledsoe, it's because nobody's gonna give anything worth while for him.

Bledsoe for Gay + Stauskus
This will be our "big" move this offseason.

Kings really only have 1 PG at the moment (Collison). Miller is a FA and probably done. McCallum's contract is NG and from the sound of things Karl and Vlade aren't high on him. Stockton is an unknown, very small PG on a NG contract. Moved up from D league late late this past season. PG has been identified as a need by Vlade and Karl.

I believe the reason no one gave him that contract was because the Suns said they'll match any offer. So teams backed off. I don't think it had anything to do with his injury history.

Using what the league is now deeming "The Bledsoe Rule" and trying to stop? You are correct good sir!

Re: Offseason Trade and Free Agency Discussion
If u go to other teams trade boards, specifically the Kings board, they really don't have interest in bledsoe. They bring up the one thing we all know. He is a turnover machine.
We have to face the facts, bledsoe is NOT an asset. We are not getting draft picks AND a starter. It's not happening. If a trade happens, it's gonna be for a draft pick or 2 and maybe a bench player. Or player for player deal. All this, "be patient and get the best deal possible," just isn't realistic. The best deal is basically summed by the only deal available.

Re: Offseason Trade and Free Agency Discussion
If the Kings were interest, IF, i would try WCS/Gay for Bledsoe/Warren/Tucker/Maybe a future pick.
People have to remember that the Kings relationship with Cousins was really damaged with things Coach Karl was putting out there. This is a way to help repair things, by getting his good buddy Bledsoe. Yeah, Cousins might have had a little say in drafting WCS, but who is he going to want to play with more? A young rookie big that is going to take away some much needed room in the paint from him, or his friend (and former teammate) who also happens to be a pretty damn good PG? The choice for Cousins is easy. On top of all that, the Kings are able to dump Gay's salary, for a nice young SF with potential and a veteran 3/D guy and possibly a draft pick.
Knight/Booker/Gay/WCS/Len

Not saying he is "some hot asset" but this all smells of posturing by a team that is looking for it. My guess is the GM quoted is the one that wants Bledsoe. I think the market for Bledsoe will be very good. You have to think about who gains by putting out a report like this, and then follow that. We know PHX is like a bank vault with their information. If there is information out there, there is a reason for it.
Bledsoe ranks # 8 as a PG in RPM. Defensively, he ranks as #2 in RPM. Those things don't happen by accident. Not saying that is the full way to evaluate talent, but we know many teams look at advanced stats in evaluating trade options, and Bledsoe looks pretty good under the microscope.
With the sudden explosion of PHX deal/ trade rumors I suspect that the smokescreen/ misinformation train has long since left the station. If Bledsoe gets traded I think there will be decent assets attached to the haul coming back.

Good point. Maybe the Kings getting bledsoe is a way to make up the bad feelings that recently happened. Maybe cousins can push for the trade.

Unfortanetly the market is not going to be strong. As mentioned 1000x here, there are only a handful of teams (maybe 4) that need a point guard. The rest of the league has quality PGs or up and coming point guards. The point guard position is over saturated right now. Demand is low, which means prices are low. Bledsoe simply doesn't have much value.

I agree. Think it's like a 1% chance you guys give up WCS. But at the same time, everyone is tradable on any team for the right price. But I like your trade proposal(although i don't know landrys contract situation).
