Bledsoe for Gay is a pipedream coming from the dumbass Kings FO. Good luck with that offer

Philly with their glut of PFs/Cs and no PGs is the perfect trade partner to us. Utah could be interesting as well.

I think the Kings will be hesitant to trade for Lawson at this point because it will seem like they're siding with Karl over Cousins. So they might make a harder push for Bledsoe and we might have more leverage than it might seem. But I don't really want or expect it. Rondo to Kings makes a lot of sense though. He'd be a pretty good fit and is a well-known name so their FO gets credit for making a splash, and he's a KY guy like Cousins, and they don't have to give up any assets like they would for Bledsoe or Lawson.

The day the report about trading Cousins came out before the draft, I asked Kings fans who they would want in return. The three players I mentioned straight up for Cousins were Westbrook, Irving, and Griffin. I thought it would make sense for those teams because you could have a Durant/Cousins combo, a Lebron/Cousins combo, or a Paul/Cousins combo. The Kings fans wanted nothing to do with it and told me to go away. They must be delusional or something because if I was starting a team, I would pick Westbrook, Irving, and Griffin all before I picked Cousins. I think they are completely overrating their own players. He has not done anything for the Kings in five years except lose lots of games and get many coaches fired. No idea how you would not be willing to trade him for the three players I mentioned. Idk what Kings fans think they have.

For some reason, he has not been a player that leads teams to wins so far in his career. Plus why trade for him when the Suns have a potential scoring machine in Warren who is on a rookie contract. The Suns biggest need is still power forward, not small forward. They already have Granger, who was a similar player to Gay when he was healthy. Let's say that Granger can come back next year and actually play. Suddenly the Suns have a rejuvenated Granger on their team. Why pay Rudy Gay all that money for the next three years when you do not need to.

I couldn't agree more. Gay is the textbook definition of an empty stats guy, IMO.

Well I guess Bledsoe to the knicks then. Lol

Love how the Suns directly sidestep the questions.

Question: are you actively trying to trade bledsoe?

Answer: we love bledsoe, we think he is a big part of the team.

Question: ok, but are you trying to trade bledsoe?

Answer: bledsoe was a player we really liked when we traded for him. We envision him on this team.

Question: ok very nice, but are you trying to trade him?

Answer: ...... Repeat

Question:.....repeat

Although the answer tells me a lot. There were conversations but the Suns didn't like the return. That's exactly what I got from that.

Boogie might be the best offensive big man since Duncan, and he's young, signed to an unreasonably fair deal, plus talented out the wazoo. I understand why SAC is so high on him. I wouldn't protect anybody or any asset on our roster in a potential Boogie deal. I can see why they'd want Boogie(a big) over Irving(great point guard but injury-prone and plays a position that is the deepest in the league), but Westbrook and Griffin are clearly better choices than Cousins, IMO.

Well, expect some moves/signings sooner rather than later. We want to try to get some pieces in place before we ink up Knight, so we have more capspace and can exceed the cap if need be. Its like what we did with Bledsoe, holding out on re-signing him so we could sign others before Bledsoes new contract took up all our capspace, but this time we dont want to make Knight wait that long.

Bled to the Kings would be awful. Their fans are trying to argue how Gay' is not a hefty/contract a bargain for the buck with the upcoming cap expansion and should be good enough as a centerpiece. If not they would replace him with McLemore or Stauskas (lol) and WCS is obviously off limits. They would rather have Rondo on a one year prove it contract so they aren't going to lowball and not budge.

Well 98.7 guys are laughing at the Kings roster, literally. They said their roster was "junk" and laughed at Derrick Williams being on their roster....I think they have a point. They said it needs to be a third team involved....

Rose has 2 less years so if our training staff can't fix him, no big loss in terms of flexibility.

Not a fan of rose. The dude has no heart.

I can see us having interest in Rudy Gay. I know there was talk of him coming to Phoenix rather than Sacramento at one point. He could be the face of this franchise and the veteran presence we say we want.

Bledsoe - Tucker - Goodwin out

WCS and Gay in

I am really concerned about Len's health going forward and want to insure playing time for the B Boys Booker and Bogdonovic going forward.

I also really do not want us to sign Brandon Wright unless he is the last resort. He had his moments but not convinced he is worth what he will probably command going forward.

We would then be in the market for a back up PG. There are several out there and I expect we would not have a problem getting one of them.

Any Kings trade with Gay as centerpiece will need WCS attached or an unprotected first (Karl Cousins relationship will not yield a very good team).

Suns are not giving up young assets with Bledsoe for an OLDER lesser player.

Bledsoe, Tucker for Gay + WCS is my ideal trade scenario.

Who cares about Gay's inconsequential stat stuffing/garbage points in an atrocious SAC team? There's a reason every team he's formerly been on has become better after they have so eagerly gotten ridden of him. Kings fans obviously know that their sh*t stinks but are trying to douse themselves in perfume by arguing that he has turned the corned and is no longer an inefficient chucker with a cancerous attitude because he has a lower usage rate and higher assist percentage. Last season was an outlier as he knew he would have no takers if he didn't step up during his contract year
