Nope, I'd even give them a few "assets" like Plumlee and Bayless to help round out their roster if they wanted them.

Isn't the goal from here on out to win as many games as humanly possible? I think we are done with the "tanking" portion of this rebuild

I think Hibbert wins you more games than someone like Monroe/Lopez and Plumee/Bayless win you about as many games as the next end of the bench guy you can sign for the vet min. Don't really see how that would be "tanking" at all. We get a TOP tier defensive who is at worst Zaza on offense. He'll never return to Miami playoffs series Hibbert and hes a bit of a pussy but we've seen some other centers who that would describe go on elsewhere and succeed.

But at the same time, have you seen the moves they've made the last 2 weeks? I wouldn't trust the decisions they make without checking with my scouting department first.

And you're also talking about an off season where the bucks want to spend 10 million and more on the center spot. You're giving Hibbert an opportunity to earn that contract in the future.

Give it time before jumping to horrid thoughts. I'll wait to judge until their off season is over.

That's what Henson already does a lot of, and we're dissatisfied with it. We need a discernible upgrade at center, ideally who can shoot at mid range. Not another maybe worse version of Henson who we're looking to move because he doesn't make much of an impact and so we don't have to pay him either. We'd just be shuffling the deck. If we're looking for an unheralded, lower-paid center to start next year, we should go after someone at least like Amir Johnson, who theoretically fits great because of the range on his jumper, to go along with solid d plus good enough rebounding, and who also started for the last couple of years (on a playoff team).

That's the great part about Hibbert. He'd be in a contract year. You'd invest $15 million and not $50 to $70 million.

Granted he's been going downhill, but I still think part of that relates to his issues with Paul George. He needs a change of scenery.

I don't want Hibbert's brain/personality on the team. Bismack B is a perfect mental fit.

The Bucks have one offseason with cap space and a lot of centers on the market before the salary cap balloons and every team will have crazy money.

If we don't come away with a center who is more than a one season filler that would be a big disappointment.

Maybe Hibbert could turn it around here. But he seems more likely to be on a natural decline as he closes out his 20's.

LeBron has opted out and hasn't made any mention of the bucks. That's confirmed through my sources.

We need a real, 7 ft. Center who can handle the work in the paint, under the basket. Hopefully one who can do more than just score, or just rebound, or just block shots. Hopefully one who can make his FTs. Many of the players being talked about here are pretty one dimensional, or are 4-5 tweeters who won't do anything more than what we already have.

curious if anyone has access to the advance stats to show a comparison to henson/BB? Henson is a pretty terrible post defender, who makes up for it with his length.

If we weren't talking about guys like Lopez, Monroe and Chandler I'd probably agree.

Koufos is moving up my target list.

Haven't seen him linked anywhere aside from us in that euro hoops article.

I think you sign Koufos and 4 months later are wondering when we're getting an actual starter.

I think Koufos is a great fit too personally. I like the Greek connection as well.

Koufos gives you 5 pts per game, less than 5 rebounds, less than 1/2 steal, less than 1 block and shoots around 55% FT. What will that do?

Jesus H! Can we get a real Center?

Well for one probably increase with more minutes.

Way better off doubling Henson's minutes.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
