I agree with both parts

Jesus H! Can we get a real Center?

Give me Lopez or Chandler.

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

He camps in the paint, fights for rebounds, is a good passer, and is pretty crafty at taking what the defense offers. By no means a guy you run offense through or strive to get shots for. Defensively, he is a guy you have to adjust your scheme to cover for. Zaza is not a good defender, but smart enough to execute his assignments. There are some pick and roll coverages that Monroe can't even execute.
Gasol is the guy that puts us in the Eastern Conference Finals, but his acquisition is unfathomable.
Robin Lopez is the gettable guy who matches Zaza's size and strength, upgrades his rebounding and defense, and is basically a wash on offense. I know it is not an exciting acquisition, but I expect our wins would rise significantly with this type of signing.
Monroe in the paint will draw a double team and can pass out of it to the open shooter, RoLo won't, and the difference in price is maybe 3mil?

those expectations can't be aligned can they?

Hey WiscoKing,
No expectations from me after decades of BS basketball in Milwaukee. It's all a wish now! I just want to see not good basketball, but, great basketball again in this city.
I'm tired of always having to settle for a bunch of chumps that never pan out. I want to add quality players. We need a Center better than ZaZa, one who starts and makes a difference. Seems we've added some decent quality everywhere else over the years. Why waste that with a substandard Center?

He was set to make $16.1 million for next season. Wade now will seek a multiple-year deal with the Heat while also potentially exploring his options elsewhere.
Two suitors might be the Dallas Mavericks and Milwaukee Bucks.

I think i'd give up on the bucks if we signed him, wouldn't over react or anything.
