But Suns contacting Cavs FO (includes Lebron lol)... about getting love... figuratively and literally. LeBron is OK with it apparently... again NOT my rumour, and hope to goodness me posting this wont derail it lol.

Not that I'm aware of. It's just speculation based on his current position in Cleveland as being the third option behind LeBron and Kyrie. His stats have fallen off a lot in Cleveland, and he is relegated to niche 3 point duty. Rumors are that he is not thrilled by his position on the Cavs. Now he may make this a moot point and re-sign in Cleveland for a max 5 year deal and spend the next half decade shooting 3's for the Cavs.

Well we all knew about Suns interest in Love but no one heard about a bledsoe trade for Love.

Ah I see you're thinking. Interesting how he's seen both sides now - being the main guy in Minny without talent around him to being "that dude who stands in the corner hoping someone passes to him" to "that dude who really doesn't like Kelly Olynyk". Perhaps he's ok with somewhere in the middle - i.e. looking to be a solid #2 (insert joke here) on offense who gets plenty of touches.

I think that is more fan speculation than his preference. I think he wants to play for a contender, and I don't think he cares about being the main guy. He may prefer the east too, given the fact he obviously knows how tough the west is. He may just sign another one year deal though to get maxed out. I think if we are to trade Bledsoe, it would be because we have some sort of idea that Love WILL sign with us and need to clear the cap space, and it wouldn't happen until Knight inks his deal. Calderon would be a good backup and even a guard that could play with Knight because he can hit 3s, as can Knight, and Calderon is good at getting others involved too with his great court vision. Love would be perfect if we could get Porzingis to alternate behind Love, Kieff and Len, and then eventually maybe we trade someone.

Best case scenario for our offseason would be ending up with a lineup of

Knight/Calderon/Goodwin
Calderon/Booker/Goodwin
Tucker/Warren (starting at some point)/Mook
Love/Kieff/Porzingis
Len/Wright/Porzingis

I don't mind keeping Bledsoe at all though. I like him, but I'd do the deal for Porzingis and Calderon.

heard tom haberstroh on the russillo show today. he talked a little about bledsoe to cavs, mentioned klutch sports connection. said there were "rumblings" about him "being on the table" when asked about love situation

Lebron apparently "supports" the proposal, he opted out to apply pressure to the Cavs.
Irving is an amazing PG... 6'3... could he play SG?... with Lebron and Bledsoe... I can see it.
It's far fetch... but I'm hopeful lol
