Bledsoe + Tucker = 19 million (approx)
Love's max starts at 19 million (give or take a few hundred Ks)

The main reason I see it being appealing to Lebron is... they know Warriors is the benchmark.. then followed by Spurs/Grizzlies/Rockets... The east is warm-up for them.

Against the Warriors.
C: Thompson
PF: Lebron
SF: Tucker OR JR Smith
SG: Irving
PG: Bledsoe

immense defense to guard the perimeter and have Thompson's rebounding, interior defense hold down the fort. Then they have option of going traditional... with Mozgov and Thompson at the 4.

This justifies them paying Thompson "MAX" or near MAX money... Irving can play the combo guard...

If Lebron wants Bledsoe. Lebron gets Bledsoe.

That, and I think Cleveland has Love's bird rights? Or did that go away when he opted out?

It's a Sign and trade, you dont get bird rights in those. It doesnt matter if Lebron wants Bledsoe, Love is a FA. All that matters is what Love wants. If he wants PHX, PHX can sign him without giving anything to CLE. If he doesnt want PHX, he doesnt have to go

Who says no?

Works in the trade machine...

yo this is the most insane trade i've ever seen that seems like it sort of makes sense

Adam Silver would block this trade for basketball reasons.

If the CP3 trade can get blocked, this definitely getting blocked. No way are the Cavs gonna just get the best big man in the NBA for just Kyrie "glass" Irving.

LeBron doesn't want Bledsoe. Sure they are buddies, but LeBron needs shooters around him, not more ballhandlers that can't shoot. They would never ever part with Irving.

And Sac won't part with Cousins.

Just laying out reality.

I would think, the moment Suns FO is allowed to talk to Love, they will show him their plan(s).

Morris brothers can be traded.
Suns have also multiple pick(s) they can dangle to get more support.

I see them trying to sign B.Wright... or if not, go for Biyombo.

Sure, Love can go to Knicks, Lakers, Blazers... but only Blazers have a legit team with him, since they have Lillard. Knicks dont have a PG, Lakers have so many holes.

Maybe the Cavs are working with Love on this so they can save face and get another player instead of trading away Wiggins for a 1-year rental?

I can't see Portland being attractive to Love. If Blazers couldn't get anything going with Aldridge, what are they going to do for Love. Even the fact that Love was raised in Oregon (is this correct?) doesn't compensate for the fact that the Blazers aren't a good fit for him If he wants to win.

Love can totally screw the Cavs over... or he can play ball by agreeing sign and trade with the Suns.. who will be the most competitive team he can Sign&Trade with that the Cavs are also happy to deal with... if that made sense lol.

David Aldridge ✔@daldridgetnt
So, LaMarcus visit order again, starting Tue at 9 PDT: LAL, HOU, SA, PHO, DAL, TOR, NYK. (No need 2 meet with POR; they're already offered.)

Trade ideas are fluid though, if things like this spread, it could actually affect discussions.

I think Suns need to think outside the box and have some prime Scottsdale poontang lined up for Aldridge. A lineup with Morris, Morris, Green may not appeal to him, but a taste of a prime Scottsdale Cougar on the prowl might turn him in favor of the desert dwelling Suns. Anyone got an older sister or aunt they want to offer up?

Yes, it's fun to speculate and create fantasies, but I do like to be grounded in what actually MIGHT happen. But still fun to read your fantasies.

The thing is, LeBron is basically the point, and he needs to be surrounded by shooters. They don't really need a real pg. Same with Harden...Beverly hits the 3 better than Bledsoe, is cheaper and is also a good defender. Harden and LeBron draw so much attention it leaves guys open. What is Bledsoe going to do for the Cavs? He wouldn't be the primary ballhandler...sure he can play good D, but they need shooters. Shumpert is a good enough defender to guard opposing players best guard.

Aldridge will laugh off Lakers... too crappy.

He might entertain the Rockets, but Morey-ball is against his style of play... mid-range big man. He's stats will suffer.

He will enjoy Spurs's presentation, he fits perfect IMO.

Mavs will struggle to sell Parsons to him as his co-star post Dirk...

Suns have a good case... but chances are Spurs will be his first choice.

Raptors will appeal because its out-east, but he knows the team still needs some moves to be on Cavs level..

Knicks will get the same treatment as Lakers... that he has witness how Melo made Amare Stoudemire useless.. Aldridge needs his mid range and room to operate.
