I totally get Noel. WCS...ehh, have to see him actually play. And his foot scares me a bit.

Re: Offseason Trade and Free Agency Discussion
Of all the teams Aldridge is supposed to meet with, the only teams he would become the face of the franchise of are Phoenix and maybe Toronto.
Lakers: Still have Kobe
Houston: Behind Harden and Howard
San Antonio: Behind Duncan, Parker, maybe Ginobili, and Leonard
Dallas: Behind Dirk
Knicks: Behind Carmelo
Depends on what is important to him. Does he want to join a team and become the second or third option? Would he rather be the star and have the team built around him? Everyone is offering the same money so it depends on his situation. Now that the Suns have Knight supposedly locked up, they can sell the core of the team as him, Bledsoe, Knight, Len, Warren, Goodwin, and Booker. They also still have Granger and could probably get a backup big like Stoudemire if they landed Aldridge. And if they can shed the salary of the Morris brothers and Tucker, they would have like another 10 million or so to add another free agent. Possibly Demarre Carroll. I hope Aldridge gives the Suns serious consideration.

What about Bledsoe going to the Knicks for Prozingis? Knicks fans booed the pick on draft night, and Melo was pissed. If Knicks decide to give one last attempt to win-now with Melo, I can see them being willing to part with Porzingins to get Bledsoe to run the point in the triangle. David West is reportedly looking to sign in NY, so they might decide to give it one last try. We might have to take back Calderon to make things work.

Yes it could.
Bledsoe = $13.5M
MoBros = $13M
------------------------
Total = $26.5M
Whats Love asking for? I mean he got paid close to $16M this season, start him out at $16M-$17M ?Shumpert has a $3.9M QO. That would be a little over $20M (with us sending $26.5M). If need be, Cleveland could throw in Hayward ($10.5M TO) and we could throw in Tucker too ($5.5M). Bledsoe/MoBros/Tucker = $32M, Love @ $17M/Hayward/Shumpert = $32M. We would then not pick up Haywards TO.

1. It would have to be Proz/Calderon.
2. Calderon is owed almost$16M over the next 2 seasons ($7.4M/$7.7M).
3. I HATE Calderon.
With that being said, if we had a deal in place to swing Calderon for other pieces, i'd do it. Proz/Len would be pretty crazy to see, but in no way do i want to be stuck with Calderon on this team for the next 2 years eating at our capspace and rosterspace.

And TT at least $10m/yr?
That's...
$25m lebron
$15m Kyrie
$17m Love
$14m Bledsoe
$10m TT
$8m Kieff
...pretty sure that alone is over the cap next year

Why do you hate Calderon? He is a great passer and 3 pt shooter. Not the best defender or fast break guy, but as a backup or possibly off guard at times he would be fine if we could also get Porzingis and shed a bunch of salary.

I think there is a reasonable chance Bledsoe does go to the Knicks for Porzingis. We may have to take Calderon back, but I like him as a vet, good 3 pt shooter, and backup pg.

I can't believe how dumb people are in thinking that Lebron is the best player in the world and he has to team up with two others superstars to win the NBA title. I honestly don't respect him as a person and as a basketball player and I most certainly think its disrespectful to Michael Jordan when people compare Lebron to him

Re: Offseason Trade and Free Agency Discussion
Irving is also at $14M this upcoming season.
Bledsoes at $13.5M.
$66.5M is the projected cap with $79M being the luxury tax line. After this season it is set to jump to roughly $89M in 2016/17!
http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2015/4/17/8447839/nba-salary-cap-projection-free-agency-2016-2017
Cleveland also already stated that they are fine paying the Lux Tax for going over, as long as it means they remain a winning team.

Riley is a total slimeball. Say what you will about the issue of player collusion and LeBron tarnishing his legacy by forming a superteam. But come on to claim that he is not even comparable to MJ is just sour grapes/old is gold nostalgic reverence

Ill just say I'm not a fan of Lebron as a person (I think he is fake). And I think the NBA bends the rules (he is allowed to bulldoze anyone and everyone for instance) just for him because he is the NBAs prized possession. I could go on and on.
Anyway, back to the topic.
