Vivek Ranadive Is A Mad Man!!

Sources: Kings probing John Calipari about coaching, front-office jobs

The courtship of Calipari could become one more dramatic turn of events for the Kings, who have struggled under Ranadive to set forth on a direction and stay the course. Around the NBA, senior league officials and confidants of Ranadive have pleaded with him to stop these sharp changes in direction, sources said.

As one league official familiar with Ranadive's mindset told Yahoo Sports, "He's trying to find a magic button to push that'll fix everything."

The emergence of Sacramento's intrigue with Calipari comes only two months after Vlade Divac – with no front-office experience – was hired to run basketball operations, and four months after Karl was given a four-year contract.

Can we let something fail before we turn it over? He's becoming worse than the Maloofs.

The story references before Vlade was hired. The leak has been around for a while and still remains. Dammit.

Every team would look like this if someone constantly aired ALL of their dirty laundry to Woj.

The coaching situation might have already failed if there is a line between coach and star

Very interesting. If true I'd say we are at least looking at other coaches and have Cuz's back. Cal taking over the FO too? I don't know about that

For coaches in essentially one season of play? Can we even blame any coach after that?

This is it in a nutshell.

They need to the out which punk ass keeps feeding the vultures all this crap and turn whoever it is over to the league for discipline and blacklisting. This has achieved the completely asinine state and we are starting to look worse than Donald Sterling ever did.

Cal and Kings debunked it, and some feel this was from Fegan. Still shows bad blood between Karl and Cuz if true. I didn't think Cuz personality was going to accept the untradeable comments and lack of effort in communication, or whatever may be between these two. You wonder if it can get back on track

Or maybe you have been around too long to believe this bs after the Kings and Calipari have flat out denied it. I know it wasn't known when you made the first comment I took exception with but any true fan would and should take it as an insult that you compare Vivek, the guy that helped keep us in Sac with a new arena on the way to the those half tards that were selling players to make payroll and undermining arena efforts to move the team anywhere but downtown.

In recent weeks, Sacramento ownership's intrigue with Calipari has only grown with the dissolution of the relationship between All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins and coach George Karl, sources said.

Vlade has been here for the entire time. It's very much Ranadive's way to think through an idea to its end. I listen to Kriedler on 1320 and he went in depth about this. Basically he said the way he runs his company may not be the best way to run a franchise. Although he spent energy to explore an option people read into it and feed off it. They catch feelings. I wasn't the least bit worried about Karl. I'm kind of indifferent on that part. If Vivek runs Vlade off there will be a bunch of people who check out.

Don't fall into the trap of national media spin & the agendas of agents. Smear campaigns come out both the day of the draft and now free agency. Coincidence, I think not.

Do you consider calling someone a Mad Man an insult? Just want to be clear on the rules.

When certain people talk it's for a reason. Here's the media you should always pay attention to in order:

Amick - Used to write for the Sacramento Bee and now for USA Today. He's generally spot on
Wojo - He's well connected. I stopped following a lot of Mock Draft things and just wait for what he says. He's just never wrong.

Others that are generally in the know but those two and David Aldridge (he only covers top teams though) get it right.

When they write a story I'll believe it. I find it interesting that coach Cal went on Twitter to say that he was never offered a job, but what he should have said is they never discussed working with the Kings. That would have shut it down. I digress. That makes him a liar according to Wojo.

I'm a Kings fan. I'm just not a person with my head in purple sand.

In Vlades interview where he laid it on the table about his thoughts going into the draft and about getting Karl and Cousins on the same page, he said that the leaks would continue for alittle bit after the draft but he was in the process of getting it under control. Keep up the good fight, Mr. Divac.
