Don't think we need ANOTHER 2-guard, but ok.

Warriors have interest in Spurs free agent sharpshooter Marco Belinelli, a source told Yahoo Sports. Ex-Warriors guard career 39% 3P shooter

Belinelli is a very realistic candidate at the full MLE. Highly unlikely that he's one at the biannual exception though. Not sure he's worth the full MLE.

I can back this. Marco a veteran shooter would provide some quality minutes

May say more about what we think about Hairston and Lamb right now. He'd be a great backup.

Feel like he has been with winning teams most of his career.

Would this push PJ to backup SF and Lamb to 3rd SG?

Basically.

They weren't joking around about improving the shooting.

PJ and Lamb are both wild cards. They both have better size and athleticism than Belinelli, but with Belinelli you know what you are going to get. No reason to not let them duke it out. There is a very real possibility that neither Lamb nor PJ pull it together, which would seriously handicap this team's success next season.

Belinelli would help with that.

I'm sure we aren't the only team that will be all over Belinelli though.

I can picture him as the typical Charlotte signing that has his 3pt percent plummet 10% as soon as the ink hits the paper

Ohh, I like this idea. I'm was not very intrigued with the idea of relying on Hairston and lamb for backup minutes. If they play well I'm all for expanding their roles, but I think this would be a smart move. As for the Warriors would they even have the full MLE after resigning Green? I dont know for sure but I doubt it.

MKG and Marvin Williams traded to make room for signing of Marco Belinelli. :reporter:

Is our FO able to talk to agents before June 1, just not directly to FAs? Curious how Woj learned about this.
