If Jordan leaves with no Chandler sign-and-trade and Pierce re-ups with the Wiz, Doc is going to in a very tough spot.

if this is the case about paul pierce then it looks like doc has less and less of an offseason plan day by day.

can only imagine what would happen if dj left.

i don't think it's crazy for what he'd have been worth pre-achilles injury. but crazy now, yes.

that would be summed up in three little letters. L O L.

if this is what happens, our roster going forward would be

CP
JJ
Lance
BG
??????

with
Austin
Jamal
Lance
Dawson
Baby??????

we will be a boarderline playoff team in the west aiming for 6-7-8th seed.
ehhhhh f it.

Suns fan here

Saw you're interested in Gerald Green.

I think he'd be a great piece to have off your bench.

He's a little wild at times but man when he's on forget about it just keep feeding him the ball.

His shot is beautiful when he's under control.

If you can reign it in you'll get a steal w G green bc he can really shoot it

Why are we with Wesley Johnson first thing during FA? That just makes me upset for some reason.

i can't corroborate it but i truly feel that doc doesn't have nearly the same influence he did from his boston years.

is it potentially because of how he built up then destroyed almost every FA he signed during his tenure with the clippers? maybe. i know if i were a player i'd have zero trust in him after seeing what he did to dudley, hawes, farmar, etc. him lowballing pierce so he could try to get hawes for MLE and pp on the minimum was just awful.

i mean look, last year, all those FA guys who were supposed to save us? they didn't come. i just don't get the feeling that players are dying to play for him the way they were just a few years ago. he handles business like a complete sleazeball so that could explain why wes johnson is at the top of our list instead of actually talking to someone like pierce, dunleavy, wright, bass, biyombo, etc.

it really just looks like they all wanted to meet with someone else first. the clips are backup plan B.

I think I'd prefer Wes Johnson over Gerald Green tbh, we've got enough erratic inconsistent players (offensively mainly) as it is, Wes seems more coachable I think.

I don't get why a guy like Wes Johnson wouldn't jump at a chance with the Clippers, a weak spot at the SF position, playoff team, HOF type players/coach.

i like gerald green's developmental story a lot though.

green came into the league super green (heh), was completely clueless but talented. went overseas, grew up, and came back a more mature person and player who was finally ready to contribute. i can really appreciate that.

i don't know who seems more coachable but from what i can tell, wes has been given many opportunities to grow and show what he's capable of, but has rarely done so thus far. i think that is a problem.

i'm not saying i wouldn't take wes at this stage in the game: i would. but if i had a choice? green for sure.

sounds like md3 is being retained by the bulls.

losing out on him and pierce would be pretty brutal. i didn't expect to get aminu back but at least one or both of pierce/dunleavy would have been excellent.

and hate to say it but dj is looking quite enamored with dallas. this could be one nasty offseason.
